Missions are how you move through Star Trek Fleet Command. They hand out the ship parts, officer shards and resources that gate your next upgrade, and the story ones unlock systems you cannot otherwise reach. This page indexes the mission walkthroughs on this wiki, grouped by the level the game recommends before you start, with the station upgrade and combat training missions listed separately at the end because they work differently.

Every linked page lists the objectives in the order the game gives them, the systems each step happens in, the warp range you need, and what the mission actually pays out.

Before you start a mission

Three things decide whether a mission is worth taking now or later.

Warp range. Most missions send you to a specific system, and if your ship cannot reach it the mission sits in your log doing nothing. Warp requirements across the missions on this page run from 1 up to 205. The figure shown next to each mission below is the furthest warp it asks for, so you can rule out anything past your current range at a glance.

Recommended level. This is the game’s own suggestion, not a hard lock. You can usually start a mission a few levels early, but the hostile strength in the combat steps is tuned to the recommended level and does not scale down for you.

Chain position. Multi-part missions have to be done in order, and later parts often need a warp range far beyond the first part. Each chain below is a single page covering every part, so you can read the whole run before starting part one.

Levels 1 to 10

The opening stretch of the game. Warp requirements stay low, most of these run inside your starting faction space, and the rewards are aimed at getting your first three ships up to strength.

Mission chains

These 25 missions run across multiple parts, 152 in total. Each one is covered on a single page with a section per part, so the objectives, systems and rewards for the whole chain are in one place.

How mission rewards work

Mission payouts fall into three groups. Ship parts and blueprints feed directly into building or upgrading a hull. Officer shards accumulate toward recruiting or promoting an officer, and are usually the reason a mission is worth repeating attention. Raw resources are the least interesting reward on paper, though the early-game missions hand out enough parsteel and tritanium to matter while your generators are still small.

A mission that unlocks the next part of its chain is progressing you rather than paying you. That progression is worth something on its own, since later parts in most chains pay considerably better than the opening one.
