Cold and Hunted is an early Borg story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Borg attackers hit your station, and after beating three of them you scout Eisenhorn as a safer home and relocate your station to a system of level 19 or higher. It follows Bearer of Bad News, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 13 to complete. The reward is 3,205,000 Parsteel and 95,000 Dilithium, and finishing it unlocks Academy Dropout.
Cold and Hunted objectives
The story line is to defend your station against Borg assailants. There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Defeat the first Borg attacker. Enemy strength around 347,000.
- Defeat the second Borg attacker. Enemy strength around 356,000.
- Defeat the final Borg attacker. Enemy strength around 344,000.
- Scout a secure system for relocation. Location: Eisenhorn.
- Recall to your Station.
- Move your Station to a system of Level 19 or higher.
The three fights come first, with no system named for them. After that you scout Eisenhorn, return home and then move your station.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system. Cold and Hunted opens at warp 1 after Bearer of Bad News and needs warp 13 to complete.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The three Borg attackers, all around 344,000 to 356,000 strength, and the station move are what you need to prepare for.

Tips
Repair between the Borg attackers if you can. They come three in a row, each around 350,000 strength, and there is no travel step to break them up.
Before the last step, check which systems of level 19 or higher are within reach. Eisenhorn is the system the mission sends you to scout, so it is the obvious candidate. The Borg page covers the faction you are fighting. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
