Deep Space Nine Arc

The Deep Space Nine arc is the Star Trek Fleet Command storyline set around the station Deep Space Nine, Bajor and the Dominion, with Captain Sisko, Major Kira, Chief O’Brien, Garak and Quark in the cast. It has 69 missions in 12 chains, recommended from level 10 to 50, with warp to complete running from 5 to 205. The headline rewards are shards for Miles O’Brien, Changeling Kira, Weyoun, Benjamin Sisko and five other officers, plus hundreds of millions of Parsteel in the level 50 chains.

How the Deep Space Nine arc works

Every mission belongs to a chain, and the chains group neatly by level. Hoodwinked is the starter at level 10 and never needs more than warp 7; its Part 3 is a choice between two versions. At level 25, A Dark and Stormy Galaxy stays within warp 20 and Looking In needs warp 25 to 30.

The six chains at levels 34 and 35 are the core of the arc. Gambit has you find the USS Defiant and fight to retake Deep Space Nine, Major Discontent sends you after Major Kira and asks for heavy donations, including 22M Parsteel in Part 3, and The Sixth Host needs warp 47 for its last two parts. Doctor Tailor Soldier Spy is a Section 31 prison break with Bashir and Garak, The Defiant Part 1 goes into Dominion space to find the missing ship, and Trouble on the Homefront ends with you defending the station from a mercenary assault. Four parts of Trouble on the Homefront have choice splits that change the rewards.

One Man’s Villain at level 40 ends in a standoff with Gul Dukat. The two level 50 chains need serious range: A Day in the Life swings from warp 25 to 205, and Nobody Needs To Know reaches warp 160.

Deep Space Nine arc rewards worth chasing

Miles O’Brien shards come from Hoodwinked Parts 1 and 5 and A Day in the Life Parts 1 and 5. Major Discontent pays eight Changeling Kira shards across Parts 1, 3 and 5. Trouble on the Homefront pays Benjamin Sisko shards in Parts 1 and 5, and its final choice in Part 10 decides between more Sisko shards, 4 Changeling Kira shards or 4 Miles O’Brien shards.

Weyoun shards are spread across Looking In Parts 2 and 4, Gambit Parts 2 and 6, The Sixth Host Part 5 and Nobody Needs To Know Part 3. Looking In also pays Ikat’ika shards, and Pon shards come from The Sixth Host Part 1 and Nobody Needs To Know Parts 1 and 4. One Man’s Villain pays Gul Dukat shards, and Doctor Tailor Soldier Spy pays a Garak shard in Part 1 and a Damar shard in Part 5.

The level 50 chains carry the biggest resource payouts: 762.5M Parsteel and 9,000 Latinum in A Day in the Life Part 3, and 552.5M Parsteel, 143.1M Tritanium and 10,000 Latinum in Nobody Needs To Know Parts 4 and 5. Gambit Part 9 pays 2,400 Ultra Recruit Tokens, and every part of A Dark and Stormy Galaxy gives 175 Assembly Medals.
