A Show of Force is a Romulan story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you show off the Romulans’ strength by hunting down pirates. You clear the Corvallen pirates out of Ragnarr, defeating their battleship and their leader, then meet the Corvallen fleet in Eisenhorn. It needs warp 13 to complete and has two fights, both around 23,000 strength. The reward is 75 Premium Recruit Tokens, 1,500 Dilithium and a small Romulan reputation gain, and it unlocks A Performance for the Ages.
A Show of Force objectives
Four objectives, no choice split:
- Hunt down the pirate forces in Ragnarr. Location: Ragnarr.
- Defeat the Corvallen Pirate Battleship. Location: Ragnarr. Enemy strength is roughly 22,909.
- Defeat the Corvallen Pirate Leader. Location: Ragnarr. Enemy strength is roughly 23,149.
- Meet the Corvallen fleet in Eisenhorn. Location: Eisenhorn.
The first three steps all happen in Ragnarr. You find the pirates, beat their battleship, then take down their leader, who is only slightly stronger. The mission then sends you to Eisenhorn to meet the Corvallen fleet, which completes it. There is no return-to-station step and nothing to donate.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system and the mission can be accepted from warp 1. Completing it needs warp 13 for Ragnarr and Eisenhorn. The game lists a recommended level of 1. Two fights around 23,000 strength are the practical requirement.

The story moves from winning over the Corvallens to manipulating them, with Eisenhorn as the meeting point in three of the four missions. A Show of Force is the only one with two fights and no kill count or payment, and its reward is the only recruit token payout in the run.
Tips
Bring a ship that can beat about 23,000 strength twice. The Pirate Battleship and Pirate Leader come back to back in Ragnarr.
Hold some Dilithium back. A Performance for the Ages asks for a 1,000 Dilithium payment, and this mission gives you 1,500 just before it.
The reputation changes are small, 250 Romulan Points against 114 Federation Points, the same as Allegiances. They add up across the Corvallen missions, so keep an eye on them if you want to stay neutral.
