Filling A Vacuum is a level 74 Klingon mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you fight off a warband of Nausicaan explorers who have targeted House Sov colonies. It is picked up in Goviscia and never leaves it, needing warp 3,000 to start and to complete. There are two fights, a Nausicaan Warship and a Nausicaan Troop Carrier at about 19 trillion strength each, and no donation. The reward is 1,140,000 7★ Raw Crystal, 90,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts and 900 Σ-Klingon Credits. It is short and all combat.
Filling A Vacuum objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Defeat the Nausicaan Warship. Location: Goviscia (enemy strength about 19.2 trillion).
- Defeat the Nausicaan Troop Carrier. Location: Goviscia (enemy strength about 18.6 trillion).
- Check on the colony on Mejosur. Location: Goviscia.
The Warship comes first and is the stronger of the two. With the Troop Carrier also beaten, you check on the House Sov colony on Mejosur to finish.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Goviscia, and all three objectives are there too. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 3,000, and the recommended level is 74.
With a single system, the only travel is the trip out.

All three share the same point changes. Filling A Vacuum is the quickest to run, since it never leaves Goviscia.
The Nausicaan Warship is listed at about 19.2 trillion, the same strength as the Borg Sphere in Onslaught and the Forsaken vessel in Shoring Up, which is the top of the level 74 range. The Troop Carrier matches the level 74 guard and Surgewalker fights at about 18.6 trillion.
Tips
Repair before you start. The two fights come back to back with nothing in between, and the Warship is the tougher one.
Falter holds its meeting in Goviscia, so the two Klingon missions pair up on one trip. Refuge also picks up in Goviscia, but it pays Federation Points.
