Show of Force is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission in the Orion storyline around Arvent: a Nausicaan guerrilla squadron has attacked the Orion colony on Khrest, and you track down the fleet responsible. It is recommended for level 12, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 8 to complete. You investigate in Tellun, confront and destroy Drajk’s ship in Nausicaa, then report back to Arvent in Orion. The reward is a Lucia Gonzales shard and an Orion Manifest.
Show of Force objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Find out which Nausicaan fleet attacked the colony. Location: Tellun.
- Confront Drajk. Location: Nausicaa.
- Destroy Drajk’s ship. Location: Nausicaa. Enemy strength is roughly 5,108.
- Inform Arvent of Drajk’s demise. Location: Orion.
Tellun is where you learn who was behind the attack. The trail leads to Drajk in Nausicaa, where the confrontation turns into the mission’s only fight. With Drajk’s ship destroyed, you fly to Orion to tell Arvent, and that report completes the mission.
Where and what warp
Show of Force cannot be picked up directly in a system. It continues from the previous mission in the storyline, so it appears once that one is finished. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 8 to complete, with stops in Tellun, Nausicaa and Orion.
The recommended level is 12. Drajk’s ship, at around 5,108 strength, is where that level matters.
Show of Force rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Lucia Gonzales shards | 1 |
| Orion Manifest | 1 |
Completing Show of Force also unlocks the next mission in the storyline.
Arvent’s missions compared
Show of Force is one of several warp 8 missions built around Arvent and the Orion Syndicate. From the current game data:
| Mission | Recommended level | Story | Toughest fight | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guilty By Association | 11 | Collect manifests to prove yourself to Arvent | None | 75 2★ Common Refined Crystal, 7 2★ Interceptor Parts, 40 1★ Survey Parts |
| Show of Force | 12 | Hunt the Nausicaans who attacked Khrest | Drajk’s ship, about 5,108 | 1 Lucia Gonzales shard, 1 Orion Manifest |
| Restructuring | 16 | Remove Arvent’s rival, Hemtak | Underboss Hemtak, about 5,108 | 700 Tritanium, 1 Orion Manifest, 5 2★ Survey Parts |
| Insurgents | 17 | Put down Hemtak’s loyal followers | Hemtak’s final allies, about 5,108 | 9,000 Parsteel, 1 Orion Manifest, 1 1★ Survey Parts |
Drajk sits at the same 5,108 strength as the later Hemtak fights, even though Show of Force is recommended several levels lower. That makes it the stiffest fight for its level in this group.
Tips
Bring your best combat ship to Nausicaa. Drajk’s ship is the one fight, and at 5,108 strength it matches targets that the game recommends for level 16 and 17.
Orion Manifests run through this storyline. Guilty By Association asks you to collect six of them for Arvent, and Show of Force, Restructuring and Insurgents each hand one out.
The Lucia Gonzales shard is the headline reward, though a single shard is only a small step toward the officer.
The previous mission is Bombardment. Arvent’s other missions above are Guilty By Association, Restructuring and Insurgents, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
