Sanctum is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission in which you look for somewhere to stash a group of super soldiers. It is recommended for level 29, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete. You search Krlakh for a hideout, clear 10 hostiles of level 28 or higher, then scout Seevor and hide out on the planet there. There are no scripted boss fights. The reward is 55,000 Dilithium and four 30 Minute Speed Ups, a modest return for a mission that is mostly travel and one kill count.
Sanctum objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Search for a hideout. Location: Krlakh.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of Level 28 or higher.
- Keep scouting locations. Location: Seevor.
- Hide out on the planet. Location: Seevor.
Krlakh is the first place you look, and it does not work out. Before moving on you have to clear 10 hostiles of level 28 or higher; unlike the other steps, that objective does not name a system. The search then continues in Seevor, where the last step has you hide out on the planet, and the mission ends there without a trip home.
Where and what warp
Sanctum picks up at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete. Krlakh comes first and Seevor last. The recommended level is 29, one above the minimum hostile level in the kill-count step.
Sanctum rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Dilithium | 55,000 |
| 30 Minute Speed Up | 4 |
Completing Sanctum also unlocks the next mission in the storyline.
Sanctum and Caged Animals compared
Caged Animals is the mission in which you extract the super soldiers in the first place. The two sit next to each other in level and warp:
| Mission | Recommended level | Warp to complete | Main fight | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Caged Animals | 28 | 19 | Guard ship in Biruin, about 153,150 | 200 Federation Credits, 200 Klingon Credits |
| Sanctum | 29 | 20 | None; 10 hostiles of level 28 or higher | 55,000 Dilithium, 4 30 Minute Speed Up |
Caged Animals is the harder of the two, with a scripted guard ship at around 153,150 strength. Sanctum replaces that with a kill count, so the challenge shifts from one tough target to finding and beating 10 level 28 hostiles.
Tips
Plan the hostile count around your route. The objective does not name a system, so look for level 28 or higher hostiles near the path between Krlakh and Seevor.
Pick targets at or just above level 28. The objective asks for level 28 or higher, so lower-level hostiles are not what you want here, however easy they are to kill.
A combat ship is still needed for the kill count, but no scripted boss waits at the end, so there is no need to save your hull for a final fight.
Use the 30 Minute Speed Ups on build or research timers with at least half an hour left.
