Pretender’s Throne is a ten-part Mirror Universe chain that starts with you helping Inquisitor Troi hunt the ISS Enterprise-D for Empress Nerys and ends with you leading the rebel assault that removes Kira Nerys from the Terran throne. Every part is recommended for level 34. It begins on Terra in Mirror Sol, and warp to complete is 50 for every part except Part 9, a Station defense at warp 1. The officer rewards are Mirror Ezri shards in Part 3, Mirror Troi shards in Part 8 and Mirror Kira shards in Part 10, with about 38.6 million Parsteel across the chain.

Pretender’s Throne Part 1
Empress Nerys sends you with Inquisitor Troi to find the ISS Enterprise-D. The search runs through Mirror Cardassia and Mirror Bajor, with a Klingon assailant and an unknown vessel to deal with, before you bring Troi back to Terra.

Pretender’s Throne Part 2
You return to help Terran Resistance survivors in Mirror Bajor and end up defending yourself from the Resistance forces, then travel to their hideout in Mirror Sirius.

Smiley O’Brien wants the ISS Defiant. You find it in Mirror Wolf, clear 12 hostiles, reclaim it and pay to restore its warp capability.
- Investigate the last sighting of the ISS Defiant (Mirror Wolf).
- Defeat 12 hostiles of Level 34 or higher.
- Reclaim the ISS Defiant (Mirror Wolf).
- Return to Resistance HQ (Mirror Sirius).
- Donate 500K Dilithium to restore the Defiant’s warp capability.

Pretender’s Throne Part 4
To earn Bashir’s trust, you sabotage a Terran communications outpost in Mirror Alpha Centauri and stop a Terran guard from reporting back.
- Approach the Terran communications outpost (Mirror Alpha Centauri).
- Defeat 12 hostiles of Level 34 or higher.
- Conduct an orbital strike on the outpost (Mirror Alpha Centauri).
- Flee the system (Mirror Wolf).

Pretender’s Throne Part 5
You set up the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance for the attacks on the Empire, with 12 hostiles to clear in Mirror Cardassia.

- Defeat 12 hostiles of Level 34 or higher.
- Return to Resistance HQ (Mirror Sirius).

Pretender’s Throne Part 6
Ezri Tigan is in an Orion penal colony. You pay for its location, disable the Warden’s ship in Mirror Alpha Centauri and bring Ezri back to the rebels.
- Enter hostile territory to search for Ezri Tigan (Mirror Alpha Centauri).
- Pay 1M Tritanium for the location of the penal colony.
- Travel to the penal colony (Mirror Alpha Centauri).

Pretender’s Throne Part 7
The Resistance needs the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. You fight off a Cardassian and a Klingon attacker, prove your strength and pay the Alliance a tithe at Cardassia Prime.

Pretender’s Throne Part 8
Empress Nerys calls you back. You investigate the rebel assault in Mirror Bajor, pay for repairs, and take Inquisitor Troi to the ISS Enterprise-D.

- Utilize 10M Parsteel to repair the damage caused by the rebels.

Pretender’s Throne Part 9
Terran attackers come for your Station. Three fights end with Lieutenant Larsen, and you pay to repair your Station’s defenses.

- Defeat Lieutenant Larsen (enemy strength ~415,226).
- Use 1.5M Tritanium to repair your Station’s defenses.

Pretender’s Throne Part 10
The united fleet assembles in Mirror Sirius and leads the assault on the Terran throne in Mirror Sol, finishing with the imperial flagship.
- Assemble the united fleet (Mirror Sirius).
- Lead the rebel assault on the Terran throne (Mirror Sol).
- Defeat 12 hostiles of Level 34 or higher.
- Destroy the imperial flagship (Mirror Sol, enemy strength ~431,670).
- Return to your Station.
Warp to complete: 50. Rewards: 898,000 Tritanium, 1x 12 Hr Peace Shield, 2,000 Ship XP, 800 Latinum and Mirror Kira shards.
Tips for completing Pretender’s Throne
Nine of the ten parts need warp 50 for the Mirror Universe systems, so this chain is only practical with a ship that reaches warp 50 comfortably.
The costs come steadily: 500,000 Dilithium in Part 3, 1 million Tritanium in Part 6, a 400,000 Dilithium tithe in Part 7, 10 million Parsteel in Part 8 and 1.5 million Tritanium in Part 9. Part 7 pays back over 20 million Parsteel, which covers the Part 8 cost.
Parts 3, 4, 5 and 10 each ask for 12 hostiles of level 34 or higher.
The 13 ship fights sit between about 415,000 and 432,000 enemy strength. Parts 7 and 9 each have three in a row, so repair between them.
Are the Pretender’s Throne rewards worth it?
For Mirror Universe collectors, yes. Three Mirror officers, about 38.6 million Parsteel, 4.3 million Tritanium, 1.6 million Dilithium and recruit tokens for all three factions make it one of the better-paying level 34 chains.
