One Shot, One Kill is a single assassination mission where a client hires you to hunt down a dangerous warlord. You pick it up near Er’Tama at recommended level 45, and the job reaches out to warp 150 at its farthest point. Partway through you decide how to approach the target, and both routes pay the same 284,267,000 Parsteel and 20 Recruit Tokens plus 800 four-star common ship parts. The only real decision is which parts you want.
One Shot, One Kill objectives
Work through the mission in this order:
- Find the target in Kayla.
- Decide how to approach the target. This is where the mission splits into two paths.
The choice: how to approach the target
Once you locate the target, you choose your approach. The two routes change the tasks you complete and the ship parts you earn, but the fight against the warlord is the same either way.
Path 1: through the nebula
- Move through the nebula in Kayla.
- Defeat the target in Kayla, an enemy sitting near 6,389,135 in strength.
- Return to the client in Odin.
This path rewards Explorer parts.
Path 2: through the asteroid belt
- Move through the asteroid belt in Kayla.
- Defeat 8 hostiles of level 43 or higher.
- Defeat the target in Kayla, the same roughly 6,389,135-strength enemy.
- Return to the client in Odin.
This path rewards Battleship parts and adds the extra hostile-clearing step.
Where and what warp
You pick One Shot, One Kill up near Er’Tama at recommended level 45. Getting started already asks for warp 120, and the objectives in Kayla and Odin push the farthest jump to warp 150. That is a long haul, so fuel a round trip to warp 150 before you commit rather than getting caught short between systems. If your warp range falls below 150, this is the mission to prepare for.
One Shot, One Kill rewards
Both approaches pay the same Parsteel and Recruit Tokens. The only difference is which four-star common ship parts you walk away with. The Parsteel haul is large enough to matter for a level 45 player, and the 20 Recruit Tokens feed straight into pulling new officers, so the payout is worth the warp 150 trip regardless of route.
| Path | Rewards |
|---|---|
| Through the nebula | 800 4★ Common Explorer Parts, 284,267,000 Parsteel, 20 Recruit Tokens |
| Through the asteroid belt | 800 4★ Common Battleship Parts, 284,267,000 Parsteel, 20 Recruit Tokens |
Tips
- Choose your path by the parts you need. The nebula route hands you Explorer parts; the asteroid-belt route hands you Battleship parts. Everything else about the payout is identical.
- The asteroid-belt route adds a step: clear 8 hostiles of level 43 or higher before the final fight. Skip it if you want the quicker clear and do not need Battleship parts.
- The target is a heavy hitter near 6,389,135 in strength. Bring a combat-ready ship and crew whichever approach you take.
- Plan around warp 150. It is the longest jump in the mission and the thing most likely to strand a lower-warp player.
- Both routes end back at the client in Odin, so your choice changes the loot, not where you finish.
- The target does not move between paths. Whichever approach you pick, the decisive fight happens in Kayla against the same warlord.
