Day of the Dove is a Klingon-space mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help Komal search for a missing Klingon scout. It is picked up in Krah’Hor and needs warp 13 both to start and to finish. After you find the scout in Labac, you decide what to do with a scavenger, and that choice sends you to either Amador or Kepler-018. Both paths pay 10 Komal shards. One adds 5,000 Officer XP, the other 150,000 Parsteel.
Day of the Dove objectives
The opening is the same for everyone:
- Find the missing scout in Labac. Location: Labac.
- Decide what to do with the scavenger.
From there the mission splits into two paths with different objectives and rewards.
Bribe the scavenger
- Bribe the Scavenger with 700 Dilithium.
- Follow the log’s directions to Amador. Location: Amador.
- Defeat 8 Hostiles in Amador. Location: Amador.
- Defeat the USS Plato. Location: Amador. Enemy strength is roughly 17,801.
Attack the scavenger (the Klingon path)
- Attack the scavenger. Location: Labac. Enemy strength is roughly 18,405.
- Follow the log’s directions to Kepler-018. Location: Kepler-018.
- Defeat the Orion Underboss. Location: Kepler-018. Enemy strength is roughly 17,801.
- Defeat the USS Plato. Location: Kepler-018. Enemy strength is roughly 17,801.
Both paths end with the USS Plato at the same strength. The bribe path swaps the scavenger fight for 700 Dilithium and asks you to clear eight hostiles in Amador. The attack path is three named fights across Labac and Kepler-018.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Krah’Hor, and the game lists warp 13 to start and warp 13 to complete. The recommended level is listed as 1. The fights, all between about 17,801 and 18,405, are a better guide to what your ship needs.

Completing either path unlocks the next part of the chain.
Tips
The Komal shards are the same on both paths, so choose on the side reward and on how you want to spend your time. The bribe path costs 700 Dilithium up front and gives Officer XP. The attack path costs nothing but an extra named fight, and pays 150,000 Parsteel.
If Dilithium is tight, attack. The scavenger is about 18,405, only a little above the USS Plato you have to face on either path anyway.
If you choose the bribe, have 700 Dilithium on hand before you reach Labac, and plan for the eight hostiles in Amador, which means eight fights rather than one named target.
