Stalemate is a level 74 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help the Order fight back against House Sov. It is picked up in Zadastra and needs warp 3,000 to start and to complete, with one trip out to Yoavrei. There is no named fight and no donation, only 10 hostiles of level 74 or higher. The reward is 492,000 Σ-Parsteel, 2 1 Day Assignment Speed Ups and 1,000 Σ-Romulan Credits. It is the only level 74 Romulan single mission, and a simple one.
Stalemate objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Attend the briefing. Location: Zadastra.
- Proceed to Yoavrei. Location: Yoavrei.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 74 or higher.
- Report back to the Order. Location: Zadastra.
- Answer the transmission. Location: Zadastra.
The Order briefs you in Zadastra and sends you to Yoavrei, where you clear the hostiles. You then report back and answer a transmission to finish.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Zadastra, where the mission also ends. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 3,000, and the recommended level is 74.
Yoavrei is the only other system, and the hostile count has no location attached, so clear it there.

Stalemate is the only one of the four that pays Σ-Parsteel, and it is the only one with no named fight.
Stalemate is the only level 74 single mission that pays Romulan Points. Its 492,000 Σ-Parsteel is the second-largest Σ-Parsteel payout among the level 74 faction missions, behind the 738,000 in Field Trip.
Tips
Any ship that farms level 74 hostiles will get through this. There is no named enemy to plan around.
Refuge also sends you to Zadastra at this level, though it pays Federation Points, so only combine them if you do not mind the two factions pulling against each other.
The story sets the Order against House Sov. On the reputation side, Romulan Points up by 19.5 billion, Federation Points down by 22.8 billion and Klingon Points down by 10.7 billion.
