Honor and Blood

Honor and Blood is a short Star Trek Fleet Command story mission that sends you to report to the Klingon Empire. You pick it up at warp 1, close to your starting space, and finish it out at warp 13 after a single objective on Krah’Tok in the Krah’Hor system. The payoff is Klingon standing and a small pile of Klingon Credits, paid for with a dip in your Romulan and Federation reputation. It clears fast, but the faction shift is worth understanding before you accept it.

Honor and Blood objectives

There is one objective to complete:

  • Meet with the Klingon Empire on Krah’Tok, in the Krah’Hor system.

The story framing is simple: you are ordered to report to the Klingon Empire, and the mission ends once you make contact on Krah’Tok. Krah’Tok is the meeting point inside the Krah’Hor system, and reaching it is the whole task. No enemy target is attached to the objective, so there is no fight to win here, only the travel and the meeting.

Where and what warp

Honor and Blood starts at warp 1, so you can take it on early without a long jump to reach the pickup. The completing objective sits deeper in, in the Krah’Hor system at warp 13. That warp 13 figure is the number to plan around: your active ship needs the range to reach Krah’Hor. If it does not have the range yet, you will need to raise your warp range or bring a ship that can make the trip before you can close the mission out.

Because the objective is a meeting rather than a battle, you do not need a combat loadout for this run. Range matters more than firepower here.

Honor and Blood rewards

Finishing Honor and Blood pays out:

  • 5 Klingon Credits
  • 50 Klingon reputation (Klingon Points)
  • 30 Romulan reputation lost (Romulan Points)
  • 11 Federation reputation lost (Federation Points)

The headline is the Klingon reputation gain. Klingon Credits and Klingon Points both feed your standing and buying power with the Klingon faction, which helps if you are working toward Klingon faction ships, officers, or store items. The two negative lines are reputation you give up with the Romulans and the Federation for siding with the Klingons at this point in the story.

Tips

Honor and Blood is the Klingon-aligned option at a faction choice point, which is why it trades Romulan and Federation standing for Klingon standing. That makes the faction reputation swing the main thing to weigh. The losses are small, 30 Romulan and 11 Federation, but if you are in the middle of grinding Romulan or Federation reputation, or trying to keep good standing so you can farm their space safely, factor that hit in before you accept.

Otherwise this is an easy step. Confirm your ship can reach warp 13 so the trip to Krah’Hor is not a wall, then fly out, make contact on Krah’Tok, and collect the Klingon rewards. There is no combat check on the objective, so any ship with the range will do.
