Counter Culture is a two-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which Nardo the Pakled is in trouble again. You track him down in Seh’Lei for the Forsaken Leaders in Alvolea, then decide whether to trick him into coming home or drag him back by force. Both parts are recommended for level 75; Part 1 needs warp 3,500 to complete and Part 2 needs 3,000. The chain is picked up in Sodonus and pays 1,074,000 7★ Raw Ore, either 857,000 Σ-Parsteel or 2,224,000 7★ Raw Gas depending on your choice, 2,200 Σ-Federation Credits and 43 billion Federation Points. It is a short, light chain with one meaningful decision.

Counter Culture Part 1
Nardo is in trouble again. The Forsaken Leaders in Alvolea send you to look for him in Seh’Lei, where a scavenger has to be dealt with before you can talk to him.
- Meet with the Forsaken Leaders (Alvolea).
- Look for Nardo (Seh’Lei).
- Defeat the scavenger (Seh’Lei, enemy strength ~31,548,548,760,664).
- Speak to Nardo (Seh’Lei).
Part 1 is picked up in Sodonus at warp 3,500. Warp to complete: 3,500. Rewards: 1,074,000 7★ Raw Ore, 89,000 7★ Broken Survey Parts, 700 Σ-Federation Credits, 1 Gravimetric Data, 21,500,000,000 Federation Points, -11,800,000,000 Romulan Points and -25,200,000,000 Klingon Points.
Counter Culture Part 2
Can you bring Nardo back? After reporting to the Forsaken leaders in Alvolea you choose between a trick and plain force. The two paths pay different resources.
- Report back to the Forsaken leaders (Alvolea).
- Choose to trick Nardo or use force.
Trick Nardo
Nardo needs to feel important, so the plan is to pick a fight near where he is hiding, pretend to lose and send out a distress call so he comes running.
- Go to Seh’Lei (Seh’Lei).
- Start a fight (Seh’Lei, enemy strength ~32,326,212,440,462).
- Return with Nardo to the Forsaken (Alvolea).
Rewards on this path: 857,000 Σ-Parsteel, 184,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts, 1,500 Σ-Federation Credits, 1 Gravimetric Data, 21,500,000,000 Federation Points, -11,800,000,000 Romulan Points and -25,200,000,000 Klingon Points.
Drag him back
You refuse to lie to Nardo and bring him back by force so the Forsaken can convince him to stay.
- Find Nardo (Seh’Lei).
- Disable Nardo’s ship (Seh’Lei, enemy strength ~32,608,387,595,525).
- Return the Pakled to the Forsaken (Alvolea).
Rewards on this path: 2,224,000 7★ Raw Gas, 184,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts, 1,500 Σ-Federation Credits, 1 Gravimetric Data, 21,500,000,000 Federation Points, -11,800,000,000 Romulan Points and -25,200,000,000 Klingon Points.
Part 2 starts at warp 1 and needs warp 3,000 to complete on either path.
Tips for completing Counter Culture
The Part 2 choice is the one decision worth thinking about, because it is the only reward difference in the chain. Tricking Nardo pays 857,000 Σ-Parsteel, while dragging him back pays 2,224,000 7★ Raw Gas instead. Everything else on the two paths is identical, and each path has exactly one fight of about 32 trillion strength, so pick the resource you are shorter on.
The whole chain moves between Alvolea and Seh’Lei after the pickup in Sodonus, and every fight sits between about 31.5 and 32.6 trillion strength. No part asks for a donation.
The chain adds 43 billion Federation Points and removes 23.6 billion Romulan Points and 50.4 billion Klingon Points. See faction reputation for how that affects your standing. The Forsaken first cross your path in the level 70 Margins chain.
Are the Counter Culture rewards worth it?
It is a small chain with small rewards, but it costs almost nothing. Two light fights and no donations return 1,074,000 7★ Raw Ore, either 857,000 Σ-Parsteel or 2,224,000 7★ Raw Gas, 273,000 7★ broken ship parts, 2,200 Σ-Federation Credits and 2 Gravimetric Data. Federation-leaning commanders will want the points; others can take it for the resources. The Σ resources guide covers Σ-Parsteel, and the STFC mission guide lists more level 75 missions.
