I Defy You, Stars! is a level 69 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which a Romulan officer named Citau asks you to recover the body of her partner, killed in Klingon space, so he can have a proper funeral. It is picked up in Morta-640 and needs warp 1,550 to start and to finish. There is one light fight against a Klingon ship. The reward is 512,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium, 512,000 Raw Σ-Dilithium and 3,900 Romulan Credits.
I Defy You, Stars! objectives
Citau’s partner was on a ship sent to negotiations in Klingon space. It was attacked and boarded, and he was executed; the Klingons plan to use his body as a bargaining chip. Citau will not wait, and the only way to identify him is a lobi crystal necklace he wore. There is no choice split:
- Retrieve the partner’s body in Hegh’Qun.
- Disable the Klingon ship in Hegh’Qun (enemy strength ~13,338,340,215).
- Intercept the cargo ship in Dantak-6.
- Deliver the body to Citau in Morta-640.
- Help Citau with a Vulcan funeral in Wigg.
Hegh’Qun is full of wreckage and Klingon battleships but no bodies. You disable a Bird-of-Prey so Maia can read its computer, and the data points to a cargo vessel that has left for Dantak-6. Its Klingon captain respects a death in battle and lets you beam aboard that one body and no other. The body turns out to be Vulcan. Citau already knew: she and Sofaak, a Starfleet officer, had kept their bond hidden since they met at peace talks, and she buries him in Wigg, a place that meant something to them both.

The mission is picked up in Morta-640 and needs warp 1,550 to start and to complete. You travel to Hegh’Qun, then Dantak-6, back to Morta-640 and finally to Wigg. The recommended level is 69.

Tips
The Bird-of-Prey in Hegh’Qun is the only fight, at about 13.3 billion strength. That is small for level 69, so the warp 1,550 range matters more than ship power here. Klingon hostiles covers the Klingon ships you meet around the galaxy.
The reward is split evenly between Raw Σ-Tritanium and Raw Σ-Dilithium, which makes it a balanced pick if you need both. The Σ resources page explains the Σ versions of each.
