Nemesis of Ages is a level 61 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help a down-on-his-luck Andorian archaeologist hunt for a lost ship, only to find the wreck of the Scimitar and a Romulan crew waiting for it. You pick it up in Keylali at warp 900, and it completes at warp 900. At the end you hand the wreck over to the Romulans or refuse. Handing it over pays 6,815,000,000 Tritanium and Raw Σ-Dilithium; refusing pays Trait XP and Raw Σ-Tritanium. Both paths give the same reputation changes.
Nemesis of Ages objectives
Thavov left a comfortable post at Starbase 13 to chase a star chart that was supposed to lead to a lost vessel of great power. The chart looks useless to him, but Maia thinks she can clear its distortion. Following it turns up a small automated drone that decloaks and leads you on, and eventually Thavov works out that the chart is really the ship’s navigation key.
- Meet with the archaeologist. Location: Euryodite-731.
- Follow the vessel. Location: Lekin-196.
- Investigate the Lekin-196 system. Location: Lekin-196.
- Scan the planet’s surface. Location: Lekin-196.
- What should we do?
The scan shows a damaged but intact hull on the surface, and a Romulan subcommander named Vasul appears to claim it: the Scimitar, Shinzon’s flagship. Vasul reveals that the Romulans let Thavov steal the map from Starfleet so he would lead them here. Thavov begs you not to let them take a wreck full of weapons data.
Hand over the Scimitar’s wreckage
Thavov refuses to accept it and tries to stop the Romulans himself, so you have to disable his ship.
- Disable Thavov’s vessel. Location: Lekin-196. Enemy strength is roughly 2,222,048,490.
Vasul takes the wreck back to Romulus and asks you to keep the meeting secret.
Refuse
You side with Thavov and fight off the Romulans, then take what you learned to Starfleet.
- Defeat the Romulans. Location: Lekin-196. Enemy strength is roughly 2,113,383,600.
- Bring the data to Starfleet. Location: Solas Astra.
Thavov promises to make sure Starfleet recovers the wreck, and admits he was wrong to walk away from Starfleet.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Keylali, at warp 900. You meet Thavov in Euryodite-731, and the rest of the search happens in Lekin-196. Handing the wreck over ends there; refusing adds a final trip to Solas Astra. Warp to complete is 900. The recommended level is 61.

Tips
Siding with the Romulans does not help your standing with them. Both paths add 104,000,000 Federation Points and cost 228,384,000 Klingon Points and 50,752,000 Romulan Points, so decide on the resources alone. The faction reputation page has more on standing.
Each path has one fight, and they are close in strength: Thavov’s ship at about 2.2 billion, the Romulans at about 2.1 billion. The refuse path adds one more trip, to Solas Astra.
