No-Bergine Stew is a single Deep Space Nine comedy mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 20. Captain Sisko wants to cook his famous aubergine stew, but the organic aubergines he was growing have vanished, and the hunt for replacements takes him from Quark’s to a Bajoran farm to a showdown with Gul Dukat. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 25 to complete, and it pays two Benjamin Sisko shards, 7,000 Tritanium and 200 2★ Explorer Parts.
No-Bergine Stew objectives
There are seven objectives, all in the Bajor system, and no choice split:
- Visit the DS9 hydroponics bay. Location: Bajor.
- Head to Quark’s. Location: Bajor.
- Ask Kira Nerys for help. Location: Bajor.
- Visit a farm on Bajor. Location: Bajor.
- Defeat an unexpected enemy. Location: Bajor. Enemy strength about 43,800.
- Return to DS9. Location: Bajor.
- Answer an emergency call from Jadzia’s quarters. Location: Bajor.
The hydroponics bay is empty. Quark admits he used the odd purple plants to plug some leaking pipes. Kira points Sisko to a Bajoran farmer who grows alien vegetables, but the whole crop was sold half an hour earlier, and Gul Dukat calls to gloat that it went to him. Sisko knocks out Dukat’s engines, only to learn the aubergines were destroyed in the fight. Back on the station, Jadzia sends an emergency call from her quarters, and it turns out to be a surprise dinner, with an aubergine stew made from real aubergines.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed and the mission starts at warp 1. Every objective is in the Bajor system, and completing the mission needs warp 25. The recommended level is 20.
The unexpected enemy, Dukat’s ship at roughly 43,800 strength, is the only fight. That is more than twice the strength of the spy ship in How Little We Know, another level 20 Bajor mission, at about 18,400.
No-Bergine Stew rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Benjamin Sisko shards | 2 |
| Tritanium | 7,000 |
| 2★ Explorer Parts | 200 |
Tips
Send a combat ship that can handle about 44,000 strength. The rest of the mission is conversation, but the Dukat fight is the gate.
Stay at Bajor. All seven objectives are in the same system, so warp 25 is the only range you need.
The two Sisko shards are the reason to run it, and the 200 2★ Explorer Parts help if you are upgrading a 2★ explorer. Other Deep Space Nine missions are on the Deep Space Nine arc page.
