Once More Unto the Breach is a Klingon story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where an aging warrior, K’Ran, wants one more chance at glory and you take him along on a raid. Once More Unto the Breach objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Pick up K’Ran in Azha. Location: Azha.
- Assault the Suliban base in Kepler-018. Location: Kepler-018.
- Defeat the Suliban Defender. Location: Kepler-018. Enemy strength is roughly 16,758.
- Defeat the IRW Praesidio. Location: Kepler-018. Enemy strength is roughly 22,909.
- Bring K’Ran to Vos’Keth Station. Location: Krah’Hor.
You collect K’Ran in Azha and fly him to Kepler-018, where both fights happen back to back. The Suliban Defender comes first; the IRW Praesidio is the tougher of the two. With both beaten, you deliver K’Ran to Vos’Keth Station in Krah’Hor.
Where and what warp
This mission needs warp 13 to start as well as to complete. The game lists eight pickup systems for it: Wasat, Kaus Media, Kaus Australis, Kaus Borealis, Helvetios, Jishui, Todem and Zeta Polis.
The recommended level is listed as 1. The IRW Praesidio at around 22,909 is the better guide to whether your ship is ready, especially since it comes straight after the Suliban Defender with no stop in between.

The Koth shards are the headline. The 60 3★ Survey Parts are useful if you are building up a survey ship, and 30,000 Tritanium helps with station upgrades at this warp range.

Both need warp 13, and the first fight in each is the same strength. Once More Unto the Breach adds a second, stronger enemy, so a ship that barely handled the Gorn Marauder may need more power for the IRW Praesidio.
Tips
Go in at full health. Two fights in a row in the same system means no chance to repair between them unless you fly home and come back.
The reputation shift is small, with 70 Klingon Points gained and 16 Federation Points lost, so it will not move your standing much either way. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
