The Trail is a three-part set of travel missions in Star Trek Fleet Command. Each part has a single objective, to fly to one named system, and each carries the same short story prompt about pushing further into the galaxy. The parts are recommended for levels 38, 50 and 60, and the warp needed to finish climbs from 44 to 195 to 700. Every part starts at warp 1. None of the three parts lists a reward, so treat The Trail as a set of range checkpoints rather than a payout.

Tips for completing The Trail
There is nothing to fight and nothing to donate here. The only requirement that matters is warp range: your ship has to reach warp 44 for Veridian, 195 for Osbor and 700 for Corialsis. If a part will not complete, check the warp stat of the ship you sent before anything else. The ship guide helps you compare ships if you need a longer-range hull.
The gap between parts is large. Part 3 needs more than three and a half times the warp of Part 2 and sits 22 levels above Part 1, so most players will clear these parts at different points in their progress rather than in one sitting. For system numbers across the map, see the galaxy systems statistics page.
Are The Trail rewards worth it?
There are no listed rewards, so the value is in clearing the entries from your mission list and confirming your ship can reach each range. Each part takes one trip, so it costs very little once your warp is high enough. Missions that do pay out at these levels are listed on the STFC mission guide.
