Front Lines is a three-part mission chain that puts you between the Borg and Bajor. You intercept Borg ships before they reach the system, investigate Borg activity on the edge of the Delta Quadrant with the Defiant, and take a sample from a derelict ship to Starbase 185 for analysis. All parts are recommended for level 51, and the chain starts at the Operations Center on Deep Space Nine. Warp to complete climbs from 25 to 50 to 120. Each part pays Nog shards, 5 in total, alongside Solo Outpost rewards.

Front Lines Part 1
Your first order is to intercept the Borg before they reach Bajor. You report to Operations on Deep Space Nine, then hunt one Borg ship in Eronia and another in Koras-12.

- Locate another Borg ship, in the Koras-12 system.

- Report back to Deep Space Nine, in the Bajor system.

Front Lines Part 2
Part 2 sends you out with the Defiant to look into Borg activity in Vejvoda 9. You investigate a derelict ship, destroy a Borg Sphere, beam the debris aboard and leave before more Borg arrive.
- Rendezvous with the Defiant in orbit over Bajor.

Front Lines Part 3
The sample you pulled from the derelict needs analysis at Starbase 185 in Alea. From there the part sends you to check a security array in Leebyrn, answer a distress call back in Alea and face an unknown ship.
- Deliver the sample to Starbase 185, in the Alea system.

Tips for completing Front Lines
Part 1 is short at warp 25, but it holds two named fights: the Borg Probe in Eronia (about 17.9 million strength) and the Borg Sphere in Koras-12 (about 17.2 million). There is travel between them, so you can repair on the way if you need to.
Part 3 is the long one at warp 120, with stops in Alea, Leebyrn, Alea again and Bajor. Before the unknown ship, you also need to defeat 3 hostiles in the Alea system, so clear them as soon as you arrive.
There are no donations anywhere in this chain. The only costs are travel, fuel and repairs, which makes it one of the easier level 51 chains to fit in.
Are the Front Lines rewards worth it?
Yes, if you want Nog or Solo Outpost materials. Across the three parts you receive 5 Nog shards, 12,000 Solo Outpost Components across Common, Uncommon and Rare grades, 1,250 Solo Outpost Credits, 1,250 Outpost Retaliation Medals, 500 Retaliation Plunder and 120 Solo Outpost Strike Directives.
