No Recollection picks up after Andoria has been restored and General Ontella is back in power, with the temporal incursion leaving a side effect nobody planned for. It is a three-objective mission with a recommended level of 1, and it starts at warp 1 but needs warp 30 to finish. The real cost is not combat: it asks for 90M Parsteel toward a defense grid in Noakyn. The payout is refined gas, and clearing it opens the next mission in the chain.
No Recollection objectives
Three objectives, completed in this order:
- Go to Andoria Prime, in the Andoria system.
- Provide 90M Parsteel to build a new defense grid in Noakyn.
- Scan for the expected Suliban invasion force, in the Thama system.
There is no choice split here, so every player runs the same three steps in the same order. Only two of them pin you to a system. The middle step is a resource donation, which means the mission stalls on your Parsteel balance rather than on your ship.
Where and what warp
Andoria is where the mission opens, and Thama is where it ends with the scan. The donation step sits between them and does not send you into a fight at all.
Warp is what decides when you can actually close this out. The mission becomes available at warp 1, so it will appear in your log very early, but completion needs warp 30. If your best ship falls short of that, the mission sits unfinished at the last step until your warp range catches up. Treat warp 30 as the practical requirement and ignore the warp 1 pickup, which only tells you when the mission shows up.
The recommended level of 1 is not a mistake, and it is also not a promise that a level 1 player can finish it. Nothing in the objectives scales to your level, but 90M Parsteel and warp 30 are both well past what a brand new commander has.
No Recollection rewards
Finishing the mission pays 12 3★ Rare Refined Gas and 60 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas. Completion also unlocks the next mission in the chain, which is progression rather than loot.
Refined gas is the useful part of that payout. It feeds research and building costs that raw gas cannot cover, and refining it yourself costs both raw material and refinery time, so a flat grant of 72 units across the two rarities saves you a refinery cycle you would otherwise have to plan around.
Tips
Stockpile the Parsteel before you start. 90M is the entire mission for most players, and there is no partial credit that gets you closer to the reward. If your Parsteel sits below that number, spend a few days on Parsteel generation and mining before you pick the mission up, and hold off on any base upgrade that would drain the balance you are building. Getting caught mid-mission with 60M banked and an upgrade queued is the most common way this one stalls.
Protect what you are saving. A 90M Parsteel balance sitting in your warehouse is an obvious target if you play in a contested area, so check what your vault actually protects before you park that much in one place. Losing a raid mid-save can set you back several days on a mission that has no combat step at all.
Check your warp range early. Because the mission unlocks at warp 1, plenty of players accept it, do the Andoria step, and then forget it exists for weeks. If it has been sitting in your log, look at whether you can now reach Thama at warp 30. If you can, the scan step is quick, and the mission closes in a single session once the Parsteel is in hand.
Line up the route in one trip. Andoria first, then the donation, then Thama for the scan. The donation does not require you to be in Noakyn to make it, so the travel that matters is getting out to Thama at the end. Fuel for a warp 30 jump and back, and if your route crosses systems where you tend to get hit, take the ship you can afford to lose rather than the one carrying cargo.
One last thing on sequencing: since the reward is refined gas rather than something time-sensitive, there is no penalty for holding this mission until your Parsteel recovers from whatever you last spent it on. It will still be worth the same later, and finishing it with an empty warehouse just means your next base upgrade waits.
