IDIQ 8: The Raiders is the second of the three Raiders missions in the IDIQ series, and in-game it is listed as The Raiders Part 2. Raiders strike Deep Space 9 while its fleet is stretched thin, and you fly alongside Worf and the Rio Grande to drive them off. The game lists a recommended level of 61, the mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 25 to complete, and nearly all of it takes place at Bajor. Rewards are 405,000,000 Dilithium, 27,000 6★ Raw Crystal, 27,000 6★ Raw Ore and 400 Replicator Rations. There is one fight, against the Ra’Ul Reaver.
IDIQ 8: The Raiders Part 2
The story line is to protect Deep Space 9. Two raider ships are draining the station’s reserves, and after you disable one of them the trail leads out of Bajor.
- Return to Deep Space 9, in Bajor.
- Hail the Ra’Ul Reaver, in Bajor.
- Disable the Ra’Ul Reaver’s weapons, in Bajor (enemy strength ~2,127,123,225).
- Report to Odo, in Bajor.
- Touch base with Sisko, in Bajor.
- Track down the raiders, in Starks.
The first five objectives all happen at Deep Space 9. You hail the Ra’Ul Reaver, disable its weapons in a fight listed at about 2.1 billion strength, then check in with Odo and Sisko. The last step follows the raiders to Starks. There is no choice split. Warp to complete: 25.
Rewards: 405,000,000 Dilithium, 27,000 6★ Raw Crystal, 400 Replicator Rations, 27,000 6★ Raw Ore.
Finishing this mission opens IDIQ 9: The Raiders, where you confront the raiders at their base.

All three Raiders missions are recommended for level 61. IDIQ 8 has the shortest trip, while the other two need warp 100.

Tips for completing IDIQ 8: The Raiders
This is a quick mission. Warp 25 covers it, and five of the six objectives are at Deep Space 9 in Bajor, so you can park your ship there until the last step.
The Ra’Ul Reaver, at roughly 2,127,123,225 strength, is the only fight. Bring a repaired combat ship to Bajor and the rest of the mission is story.
The final objective sends you to Starks, which is also where IDIQ 9 begins. Leave your combat ship there, repaired, so you can start the next mission with a Borg fight straight away.
Are the IDIQ 8: The Raiders rewards worth it?
Yes. For one fight and a short trip, 405 million Dilithium plus 27,000 each of 6★ Raw Crystal and 6★ Raw Ore is a good return, and the 400 Replicator Rations are a useful extra.
