No Privateer is a Federation faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you stop a privateer artifact hunter from stealing Vulcan planetary debris. It is picked up in Vulcan, needs warp 17 to start and finish, and everything happens inside the Vulcan system. There is one fight, a Privateer at roughly 36,701 strength. The reward is 502,000 Parsteel, Federation reputation and credits, and a Cargo Container, at a small cost in Klingon and Romulan standing.
No Privateer objectives
There are two objectives and no choice split:
- Defeat the Privateer. Location: Vulcan. Enemy strength is roughly 36,701.
- Return the debris to Delta Vega. Location: Vulcan.
Both steps are in the Vulcan system, a level 23 Federation system. Beat the Privateer, then carry the recovered debris to Delta Vega within the same system to finish. There is no return trip to your station.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Vulcan, and warp 17 covers both the start and the finish. Once you can reach Vulcan, nothing else in the mission asks for more range. The pickup system and both objectives share the same system, so the whole mission is a single trip: fly to Vulcan, win the fight, deliver the debris.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The Privateer at about 36,701 strength is the only real test.

No Privateer and Preservation pay the most Federation Points of the group, and No Privateer has the weakest fight of the two. It also stays inside the Vulcan system, where Preservation sends you to Deneva.
Tips
Mind the reputation swing. You lose 1,800 Klingon Points and 400 Romulan Points, so skip it if you are building standing with either of those factions.
Bring a combat ship that handles a target near 37,000 strength. The Privateer is the only obstacle, so a ship that clears it can finish the mission in one outing. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
