The Road Least Traveled is a one-step level 70 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Its only objective is to collect 1 Data Core, and it needs just warp 1 to start and finish, so travel is not a factor. The reward is 20,000 Σ-Parsteel and 6,000 Σ-Tritanium, and completing it unlocks Restart, the mission that leads into the Margins chain. Where and what warp
Warp to start and warp to complete are both 1. The recommended level is 70, the same as Restart and the Margins chain that follow it. The mission comes after Full of Stars, a signal-chasing mission that needs warp 1,700 to complete. After that long trip, this one asks for no travel at all.

Hammer and Tongs asks you to upgrade Operations to level 71, so it becomes the gate once Margins is done.
Tips
The only thing that can hold this mission up is the Data Core. If you have one, there is nothing else to do and nowhere to travel.
Plan ahead for the jump in warp. This mission and Restart both sit at warp 1, but every part of Margins needs warp 1,550 to complete, and its fights are listed above 3.3 trillion strength. Use the quiet stretch here to get a long-range combat ship ready.
The Σ-Tritanium from this mission is worth holding on to. Margins Part 4 asks for a 5K Σ-Tritanium donation whichever choice you make, and Margins Part 2 has an optional 20K Σ-Parsteel donation on one of its two paths.
