Undying Spirit is a late-game Klingon faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you defend the rebels in Talvath. You pick it up in Dohrmas, where Admiral Xin’Tak waits for your report, fight a Gladius and an Augur at roughly 9.25 and 9.55 million strength, then decide what to do about the Remans. It has a recommended level of 49 and needs warp 120 to start and finish. Both choices pay the same: 300 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal, 800 Klingon Credits and 775,000 Klingon Points.
Undying Spirit objectives
Both paths share the opening steps:
- Assist in the defense of Talvath. Location: Talvath.
- Defeat the Gladius. Location: Talvath. Enemy strength is roughly 9,254,282.
- Defeat the Augur. Location: Talvath. Enemy strength is roughly 9,550,149.
- Choose: what should we do?
Path 1: finish off the Remans
- Return to Admiral Xin’Tak. Location: Dohrmas.
Path 2: help the Remans
- Donate 2M Dilithium to the Reman Commander.
- Defeat Subcommander Lesul. Location: Talvath. Enemy strength is roughly 9,527,375.
- Return to Xin’Tak. Location: Dohrmas.
Both paths give the same rewards. Finishing off the Remans sends you straight back to Xin’Tak. Helping them costs 2 million Dilithium and a third fight, against Subcommander Lesul, before you report back.
Added up, the finish-them path asks you to beat about 18.8 million strength across two fights. The help-them path adds Subcommander Lesul and brings the total to about 28.3 million across three fights, plus the Dilithium.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Dohrmas, and both the start and the finish need warp 120. The fighting is in Talvath, a Romulan system, and the mission ends back in Dohrmas.
The recommended level is 49. Two fights above 9 million strength, three if you help the Remans, are what that level has to handle.
Undying Spirit rewards
| Reward | Amount (either path) |
|---|---|
| 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal | 300 |
| Klingon Credits | 800 |
| Klingon Points | 775,000 |
| Federation Points | -300,000 |
| Romulan Points | -1,350,000 |
The mission raises your Klingon standing by 775,000 while lowering your Federation standing by 300,000 and your Romulan standing by 1,350,000.
Which path to choose
For rewards alone, finish off the Remans. It pays exactly the same and skips both the 2 million Dilithium donation and the fight with Subcommander Lesul.
Help the Remans only if you prefer that side of the story. It costs more and asks for a third fight above 9.5 million strength with no extra payout.
Tips
Repair between the Gladius and the Augur. They are almost the same strength and come back to back, so a ship that barely wins the first will struggle with the second.
Weigh the Romulan standing loss. At 1.35 million Romulan Points, this is a large faction swing. The Illusion of Peace, a similar Klingon-leaning mission at warp 120, costs 890,000.
Klingon faction content is on the Klingon page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
