Upgrade Drydock A: Level 7 is an early station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one objective: raise Drydock A to level 7. It starts and finishes at warp 1, the game lists a recommended level of 1, and no ship has to leave dock. The reward is 1,600 Tritanium, and finishing it unlocks Upgrade Shipyard: Level 9. The Tritanium is far more than the upgrade costs, so it is an easy win for a new station.
Upgrade Drydock A: Level 7 objectives
The mission’s story line explains the point of the building: upgrading a drydock cuts repair times and costs for the ship it holds. There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Drydock A to Level 7.
No system, hostile or donation is involved. The mission clears when Drydock A reaches level 7.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. Everything happens on your station.
The recommended level is 1. The real gate is the Drydock A upgrade itself, which needs Operations 7.
What Drydock A level 7 costs
Current game data lists the Drydock A level 7 upgrade at 4,500 Parsteel and 50 Tritanium, with an unboosted build time of 34 minutes. The only requirement is Operations 7.
The 1,600 Tritanium reward is 32 times the Tritanium the upgrade asks for. It also covers the Tritanium for Drydock A levels 8 and 9, which cost 100 and 200 Tritanium.
Each drydock level improves repairs for the ship assigned to it. Drydock A’s repair speed bonus is 10% at level 5 and 20% at level 10, and its repair cost reduction goes from 8% to 15% over the same levels, so level 7 sits between the two.
Upgrade Drydock A: Level 7 rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Tritanium | 1,600 |
Completing this mission unlocks Upgrade Shipyard: Level 9, which pays 350 Tritanium.
How it compares with nearby drydock missions
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Upgrade Drydock A to Level 5 | 380 Tritanium, 6 × 1 Minute Repair Speed Up |
| Upgrade Drydock A: Level 7 | 1,600 Tritanium |
| Upgrade Drydock B: Level 7 | 1,600 Tritanium |
| Upgrade Drydock A to Level 20 | 18,500 Tritanium, 2 × 10 Minute Repair Speed Up |
Drydock B has a matching level 7 mission with the same 1,600 Tritanium reward, so bringing both drydocks to level 7 pays 3,200 Tritanium in total.
Early Drydock A costs

Tips
Upgrade Operations 7 first. It is the only thing standing in the way of Drydock A 7.
Put your main combat ship in Drydock A. The repair bonuses apply to the ship assigned to that drydock, so the ship that takes the most damage gets the most from each level.
Keep the spare Tritanium for the Shipyard. The next mission asks for Shipyard 9, and Tritanium becomes a regular cost from this point on. Other station missions are on the mission guide.
