Consequences is a Federation faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help Ontella and the Denobulan Science Initiative build a suppressant for the Suliban Elite. You provoke the Suliban in Unroth, destroy 10 hostile vessels there, then carry the scan profile to Denobula Triaxa. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but it needs warp 53 to finish. The reward includes 500 Federation Recruit Tokens, 248,000 Dilithium and 42,000 Federation Points.
Consequences objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Provoke the Suliban forces in Unroth. Location: Unroth.
- Destroy 10 hostile vessels in Unroth. Location: Unroth.
- Take the Suliban scan profile to Denobula. Location: Denobula Triaxa.
The first two steps both happen in Unroth. Provoking the Suliban brings them out, and then you need to destroy ten hostile vessels in that system. Unlike most kill counts, this one is tied to a location, so the kills have to come from Unroth itself. Once the ten are down, the scan profile goes to Denobula Triaxa and the mission is done.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system, and the mission becomes available at warp 1. Completing it needs warp 53. Unroth is where you spend most of your time, and Denobula Triaxa is the delivery point at the end.
The recommended level shows as 1. With a warp 53 finish and ten kills in a single system, your ship’s range and its ability to clear the Unroth hostiles are the real bar.

The Federation Points raise your Federation standing by 42,000, and the negative Klingon Points line lowers your Klingon standing by 51,408. Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission in the chain.
Consequences in the chain
Consequences follows In Another Life, which has a choice split and needs warp 48 to complete. The warp rises by five for this mission, so check your range before you move on. The next step is Final Straw.
Because Consequences has no donation step, its only real cost is time spent fighting in Unroth. That makes it cheap to clear in resources once your ship can reach the system.
Tips
Bring a combat ship that can farm Unroth comfortably. Ten kills in one system means a string of fights close together. If the hostiles there are at the edge of what your ship can handle, repairs will slow you down more than travel will.
Stay in Unroth until the count is done. The kills must come from that system, so there is no benefit in fighting elsewhere between steps.
Use the Federation Recruit Tokens on Federation officer recruits. Five hundred is a solid batch, and the Dilithium covers a good share of research at this stage.
Watch the Klingon standing. The 51,408 point loss is small next to the Federation gain, but it adds up if you run a long string of Federation missions. More Federation content is on the Federation page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
