Believe It When I See It is a Klingon-aligned story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you dig deeper into the mining company that discovered the Tomb of Kahless. With Koth, you track the company’s owner to Beta Niobe, survive an ambush by an assassin at roughly 1,969,977 strength, and follow the trail to an information dealer in Yridia, who wants 10M Tritanium. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but the mission needs warp 80. The reward is 26 4★ Rare Refined Gas and 100 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas.
Believe It When I See It objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Track the mine company owner to Beta Niobe. Location: Beta Niobe.
- Defeat the Assassin. Location: Beta Niobe. Enemy strength is roughly 1,969,977.
- Meet with the Information Dealer. Location: Yridia.
- Donate 10M Tritanium.
Koth suspects the mining company faked its own destruction, since no bodies were found in the wreckage. In Beta Niobe, a level 43 neutral system, there is no sign of the owner, but an armed ship is waiting for you. After the fight, logs from the assassin’s ship point to a well-known information market in Yridia, a level 7 neutral system. The dealer there denies everything, and the mission ends with a 10M Tritanium payment.
Where and what warp
The mission can be picked up at warp 1, and completing it needs warp 80. Beta Niobe, deep in space, is what sets the warp requirement; Yridia is only a level 7 system.
The listed recommended level of 1 is not a useful guide. The assassin near two million strength and the 10M Tritanium donation are the real requirements.

How it follows Buried Secrets
The mission picks up from Buried Secrets, in which you report to Gorkon on Kronos, investigate the dig site and the Independent mining company, and report back to Kang. Current game data for the two:

Buried Secrets is the larger payout and carries the Klingon reputation. Believe It When I See It needs less warp and pays refined gas only, with no reputation change, but it asks for a real fight and a large Tritanium payment.
Tips
Go in ready for combat. The first stop looks like an investigation, but the assassin is waiting, and it is the only fight in the mission.
Bank the 10M Tritanium before you reach Yridia. The mission cannot finish until you pay. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
