Unseen is a level 64 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which a Bolian survey crew turns violent and you get a first look at the creature behind it. It is picked up in Holst, needs warp 1,200 to start and to complete, and moves between Sh’Pord and Holst. There are two fights: the Bolian ship BSV Troxxa at about 9.05 billion strength and a Romulan vessel at about 4.52 billion. The reward is 101,000 6★ Raw Crystal, 303,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel and a large Federation reputation gain.
Unseen objectives
There are six objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Travel to the Sh’Pord system. Location: Sh’Pord.
- Disable the BSV Troxxa. Location: Sh’Pord. Enemy strength about 9,045,315,444.
- Investigate the unusual readings. Location: Sh’Pord.
- Travel back to the Holst system. Location: Holst.
- Defeat the Romulan vessel. Location: Holst. Enemy strength about 4,516,578,656.
- Report your findings on the Ethereals. Location: Holst.
Commander Thompson of Starfleet asks whether your systems have acted up since you arrived. Maia finds a four-micron misalignment between the sensors and impulse control, tiny, though not to her. Thompson explains that ships in the area are suffering electrical and communication failures that start with navigation, and asks you to check on the Bolian ship BSV Troxxa, which has gone silent.
Its captain, Zalixa, is paranoid and hostile, and the ship’s warp core is overheating, so you have to disable it before you can help. Then an unknown creature appears, possibly extra-dimensional, and after some static the universal translator picks out one word: cease. Your own warp drive starts to fluctuate like the Troxxa’s. Back in Holst a Romulan commander, Sika, blames Starfleet for sabotage and attacks. Thompson’s medical report shows the Bolian crew had become aggressive, paranoid and prone to mistakes, and Maia notes your crew felt confused near the creatures. Both suspect the Ethereals affect minds as well as machines.

The mission is picked up in Holst and needs warp 1,200 to start and to complete. The first half is in Sh’Pord and the second half back in Holst. The recommended level is 64.

Unseen and Ethereal, the other Holst mission, share the hardest fights of the group at about 9.05 billion.
Tips
The BSV Troxxa is the fight to prepare for. At about 9.05 billion strength it is roughly twice the Romulan vessel that comes later, so bring your strongest ship and repair before the second fight.
