Calling in Favors is an Orion Syndicate story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you prove your strength to a contact of Aivin’s. It is picked up in Nikola, needs warp 56 to start and warp 70 to complete, and pays 600 Latinum, 20,880,000 Parsteel and 903,000 Dilithium. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but warp 70 and level 41 hostiles are the real bar. Finishing it unlocks Cover Charge.
Calling in Favors objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with Rokol in Yreva. Location: Yreva.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of Level 41 or higher.
- Rendezvous with Rokol in Orion. Location: Orion.
- Go to Orion Prime. Location: Orion.
You start by meeting Rokol in Yreva. The one combat objective is a hostile count with no system attached, so any ten hostiles of level 41 or higher count. After that, you meet Rokol again in the Orion system and finish at Orion Prime.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Nikola, and the mission needs warp 56 to start and warp 70 to complete. That gap matters: a ship that can reach Nikola may still fall short of the systems where the later objectives sit.
The recommended level is listed as 1. Given the warp 70 requirement and the level 41 hostile target, treat this as a mid-to-late game mission and plan around those two numbers instead.

Completing the mission also unlocks the next one, Cover Charge.
The 600 Latinum is the line most players will value most, since Latinum is scarce compared with base resources. The 20.88 million Parsteel is a strong boost for station upgrades at this stage.
Calling in Favors and Cover Charge compared
Calling in Favors opens its storyline, and Cover Charge follows straight on. The two missions share a warp 70 finish but ask for different things.

Cover Charge opens with a 1,000,000 Dilithium donation to the Syndicate. The 903,000 Dilithium from Calling in Favors covers almost all of it, so it is worth holding that Dilithium rather than spending it right away.
Tips
Farm the hostiles on your way. The level 41 objective does not name a system, so pick targets near Yreva or Orion rather than making a detour.
Save the Dilithium for Cover Charge, as above, and keep the Deep Space Datapad in your inventory until you know what you need it for.
