New Remus is a level 62 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A new Romulan recruit, Subcommander Elyra, is building the first satellite facility of the Reman Initiative and needs your help to get it running. You pick it up in Tir Duha, need warp 1,000 to start and to finish, and never leave that system. Expect a 20M Parsteel donation and one fight. The reward is 50 15 Minute Σ-Repair Speed Ups, 381,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel and 3,600 Romulan Credits.
New Remus objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with Subcommander Elyra. Location: Tir Duha.
- Provide Elyra with 20M Parsteel.
- Visit the new Independent colony. Location: Tir Duha.
- Destroy the Independent ship. Location: Tir Duha (enemy strength about 2,618,077,029).
- Take Elyra back to the headquarters. Location: Tir Duha.
Elyra has little faith in the Remans and wants the Parsteel to finish a containment structure for the new training facility. Once it is paid, she points you at a group of Independents settled on a nearby planetoid and orders them out of Romulan space. The colonists ask to stay, Elyra refuses, and you are told to destroy their ship. They agree to leave while the fight is on, and you take Elyra back to the Initiative headquarters so she can finish her wall.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Tir Duha and every objective with a location is also in Tir Duha. Warp 1,000 is needed both to start and to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 62.

The faction point rewards are listed at 1 each, far below the 114,000,000 Romulan Points that other Reman Initiative missions at this level pay. There is no penalty to Klingon or Federation standing here.
New Remus and The Climb compared
Tir Duha is also the pickup for The Climb, another level 62 Romulan mission at warp 1,000 that trains Reman soldiers:

New Remus is the shorter of the two, since it stays in one system, but The Climb is the one that moves your Romulan standing.
Tips
Have the 20M Parsteel ready before you accept. The donation is the second objective, so the mission stalls right after the first conversation if your warehouse is short.
The Independent ship is listed at about 2.6 billion strength. It is the only hostile, and because every step is in Tir Duha you can repair and come straight back if the first attempt fails.
The 50 repair speed ups are the most practical part of the reward, since they cut the repair time after fights at this level.
