Kith and Kin is a level 74 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which the Orion Syndicate wants to form an alliance with the Forsaken. It is picked up in Leba’Rha and needs warp 3,000 to start and to complete, with the meeting held in Kyampram. When the meeting breaks down you side with the Forsaken or with the Orion Syndicate, and each side means a fight against the other at about 19 trillion strength. Both paths pay 1,710,000 7★ Raw Crystal, 135,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts and 50 1 Day Speed Ups. There is no donation and no reputation change.
Kith and Kin objectives
Two objectives come before the choice:
- Set up a meeting with the Forsaken. Location: Leba’Rha.
- Attend the meeting. Location: Kyampram.
At the meeting you have to decide which side you are on.
Side with the Forsaken
Your crew judges that the Syndicate only wants fodder for its dispute with the Ferengi, not a real alliance.
- Defeat the Syndicate vessel. Location: Kyampram (enemy strength about 18.6 trillion).
- Return to Alvolea. Location: Alvolea.
Side with the Orion Syndicate
The Syndicate hired you, and siding with them is the way to get paid.
- Disable the Forsaken vessel. Location: Kyampram (enemy strength about 19.2 trillion).
- Return to Leba’Rha. Location: Leba’Rha.
Siding with the Forsaken ends in Alvolea; siding with the Syndicate ends back in Leba’Rha. The Forsaken vessel is slightly stronger than the Syndicate one.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Leba’Rha. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 3,000, and the recommended level is 74.
The route is Leba’Rha to Kyampram, then Alvolea or Leba’Rha depending on your choice.

Tips
Save the 1 Day Speed Ups for the long station builds at this level. Operations 75, the target of Hang in There, has a listed build time of more than 11,000 days.
Pick your side freely. Neither path changes your reputation, and the fights differ by less than a trillion strength.
Alvolea is where you meet the Forsaken Council in Refuge and report to the Forsaken in Hearts in the Right Place, so the Forsaken path ends in familiar territory.
