Out of Stock is the third mission in the five-part Discovery storyline in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 40. Stamets has the Romulan cloaking blueprints but is missing a tetryon compositor, so you pose as Independent contractors and buy one from the Suliban. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 47 to complete. Two payments stand in the way, 8.2 million Tritanium and 54.2 million Parsteel, and the reward is 400 3★ Interceptor Parts, 9,343,000 Tritanium and 32 1 Hour Speed Ups.
Out of Stock objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with the Suliban on Dova. Location: Yoruba.
- Pay 8,200,000 Tritanium to the Suliban.
- Meet with the next Suliban in Dessica. Location: Dessica.
- Pay 54,200,000 Parsteel to Lagar.
- Defeat Lagar. Location: Dessica. Enemy strength about 3.01 million.
- Return to your Station.
Saru worries they are no closer to a cloak, and Stamets points out the missing part. Your crew suggests the Suliban, who are loyal to the Romulans but not blindly. You tell them you need a cloak to join a Romulan border patrol. Baalik on Dova takes 8.2 million Tritanium, then admits he only charged a finder’s fee and sends you to Lagar in Dessica. Lagar charges again for the part itself, then asks which patrol you are joining. The commander you name has been dead for two years, Lagar opens fire, and you escape with the compositor.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed and the mission starts at warp 1. You need warp 47 to complete it, for Yoruba and Dessica. The recommended level is 40.
Lagar, at about 3.01 million strength, is the only fight. The two payments are the bigger hurdle.

The Tritanium comes back with a little extra, so the real cost is the 54.2 million Parsteel. Sightings, which opens this storyline, pays 48,267,000 Parsteel, which covers most of that bill if you have kept it.
Tips
Stock both resources before you start. The Tritanium is due at the first stop and the Parsteel at the second, and the mission cannot move on until each is paid.
Stay ready for a fight after paying Lagar. He attacks once you name your patrol commander, right after taking your Parsteel, so arrive in Dessica with a combat ship rather than a transport.
