What Logic Leaves Behind

What Logic Leaves Behind is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you investigate a group of Vulcan logic deniers. You pick it up in Ash-tor at warp 80, and it needs warp 90 to finish. The investigation leads to Asronal, where you defeat an assailant at roughly 912,580 strength, and then you follow the ships to Hannlaw. It has a recommended level of 43. The reward is 1,720,000 Dilithium, sixty 3 Hour Speed Ups and 20 Recruit Tokens.

What Logic Leaves Behind objectives

There are three objectives and no choice split:

  • Investigate the logic deniers. Location: Asronal.
  • Defeat the assailant. Location: Asronal. Enemy strength is roughly 912,580.
  • Follow the ships. Location: Hannlaw.

The investigation takes you to Asronal, where an assailant attacks. Once it is beaten, you follow the ships to Hannlaw, and arriving there completes the mission. No return to your station is listed.

Where and what warp

The pickup system is Ash-tor, which needs warp 80. Completing the mission needs warp 90, so the last leg to Hannlaw takes a little more range than the pickup. The route is Ash-tor, then Asronal, then Hannlaw.

The recommended level is 43. An assailant at about 912,580 strength is a manageable fight at that level, so warp 90 is the more likely limit.

What Logic Leaves Behind rewards

Reward Amount
Dilithium 1,720,000
3 Hour Speed Up 60
Recruit Token 20

The sixty 3 Hour Speed Ups add up to 180 hours, or seven and a half days off your timers. Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission in the chain.

How it compares with other Asronal missions

Asronal hosts fights in a few missions around this level:

Mission Level Warp to complete Fight in Asronal Main rewards
What Logic Leaves Behind 43 90 Assailant, about 912,580 1,720,000 Dilithium, 60 3 Hour Speed Up
A Fateful Challenge 44 85 The Ghost, about 154,890 37,867,000 Parsteel, 40 3 Hour Speed Up
Zero Sum Game 1 listed 85 The informant, about 1,950,820 3,240,000 Tritanium, 38 15 Minute Repair Speed Up

If you are already making trips to Asronal for one of these, the others are close by. What Logic Leaves Behind needs slightly more warp because of the final leg to Hannlaw.

What Logic Leaves Behind and A Fateful Challenge both pay 20 Recruit Tokens along with a stack of 3 Hour Speed Ups, 60 here against 40 there. This mission trades the big Parsteel payout for 1.72 million Dilithium, which is the better fit if research is what you are pushing.

Tips

Arrive in Asronal repaired. The assailant is the only fight, and it follows straight on from the investigation.

Plan the last jump. The finish needs warp 90, so make sure your ship can reach Hannlaw before you commit to the mission.
