Operations 41 is a station-upgrade mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Its one objective is to upgrade to Operations 41, and it needs only warp 1 to start and finish because nothing happens out in space. The game lists a recommended level of 1, so the real gate is the upgrade itself. The reward is 70 each of 4★ Uncommon Refined Ore, Crystal and Gas, and completing it unlocks the next mission in the series. It is a straight bonus for an upgrade you were going to do anyway.

Operations 41 objectives

The story line is simply “Upgrade to Operations 41.” There is one objective and no choice split:

  • Upgrade to Operations 41.

No system is listed, no hostile has to be fought and no resources are donated. The mission clears when your Operations building reaches level 41.

Where and what warp

Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. All of the work happens on your station, so ship range, crew and cargo have nothing to do with it.

The recommended level is listed as 1. That number is misleading on its own: the mission cannot finish until Operations 41 is built, so it only pays out for players who reach that point.

Operations 41 rewards

Reward Amount
4★ Uncommon Refined Ore 70
4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal 70
4★ Uncommon Refined Gas 70

Completing Operations 41 also unlocks the next part of the series.

Operations 41 compared with later steps

The Operations missions follow the same pattern: one upgrade, one bundle of refined materials split evenly across ore, crystal and gas. Current game data for two later steps shows how the bundle changes as you climb.

Mission Objective Reward (each of ore, crystal, gas)
Operations 41 Upgrade to Operations 41 70 4★ Uncommon Refined
Operations 43 Upgrade to Operations 43 80 4★ Uncommon Refined
Operations 49 Upgrade to Operations 49 22 4★ Rare Refined

Two levels on, Operations 43 pays 80 of each instead of 70. By Operations 49 the bundle has switched from Uncommon to Rare refined materials, with a smaller count of 22 each.

Tips

Operations 41 is also the target in USS Franklin-A Part 3, where the objective reads Upgrade Operations to Level 41 and the reward is a Franklin Warp Relay Mk. II. Both missions ask for the same upgrade, so check your mission list for the Franklin-A chain when Operations 41 is on the way.

All three rewards are 4★ Uncommon refined materials, one of each type. Because the split is even, this mission does not favour any single build path; it tops up all three stockpiles at once.

The series continues with Operations 42 and Operations 43. For missions that involve flying somewhere, the mission guide lists every mission by level.
