Asserting Dominance is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you send a message to the Suliban by bombarding Kervas from orbit. It is picked up in Ok’Vak, needs warp 31 to start and complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The bombardment takes place in Rator, where a Suliban Defender at roughly 293,839 strength stands in the way, and the mission ends back in Ok’Vak. The reward is 1,100,000 Parsteel. For a three-step mission with one fight, that is a solid Parsteel payout.
Asserting Dominance objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Bombard Kervas from orbit. Location: Rator.
- Defeat the Suliban Defender. Location: Rator. Enemy strength is roughly 293,839.
- Return to Viotkas. Location: Ok’Vak.
Kervas is a planet in the Rator system. You start the bombardment there, and the Suliban Defender responds. That fight is the only combat in the mission.
After the Defender is beaten, you fly back to Viotkas in Ok’Vak, where the mission began, to finish.
Where and what warp
Asserting Dominance is picked up in Ok’Vak, and both the start and the finish need warp 31. The route is a round trip between Ok’Vak and Rator.
The recommended level is 1. The Suliban Defender at around 293,839 strength is what decides whether your ship is ready.
Asserting Dominance rewards
The mission pays 1,100,000 Parsteel. There are no faction points in the reward, so it does not change your reputation with any faction. Asserting Dominance is a standalone mission and does not unlock a follow-up.

Empire of Ashes goes to Kervas to ask the Romulans for help, while Asserting Dominance bombards the same planet to send a warning. The Consul and Triggered start in Rator and each pay an Encryption Key.
Tips
Repair before leaving Ok’Vak. The Suliban Defender is the only fight, so arrive in Rator at full health.
Pair it with a Rator mission if you are already heading there. Warp 31 covers the round trip, and The Consul needs only warp 20.
Use the Parsteel on upgrades. At 1,100,000 it is a meaningful top-up for a player running missions at warp 31. More missions by level are on the mission guide.
