Altered Parameters is a five-part mission chain that starts with a Starfleet distress signal and turns into a hunt for the missing crew of the USS Merrion, held by Orion traffickers. You follow the traffickers, free the captives and dismantle the Orion Syndicate’s operation. All parts are recommended for level 40, and warp to complete never passes 50. Every part pays a WOK Saavik shard, 5 in total, along with Wrath Credits, Wrath Choice Tokens, Augment Points and Pioneer’s Crests.

Altered Parameters Part 1
You meet the Enterprise in Letoria and investigate a distress signal in Ophiuchi, where hostiles and an unknown assailant are waiting.
- Rendezvous with the Enterprise, in the Letoria system.
- Investigate the distress signal, in the Ophiuchi system.
- Defeat 15 hostiles of Level 39 or higher.
- Donate 5M Tritanium.
- Defeat the unknown assailant, in the Ophiuchi system (enemy strength ~3,598,569).

Altered Parameters Part 2
The crew of the USS Merrion is missing. You prepare the search in Olorun, clear hostiles and follow the next lead to Nibiq, where a sentry blocks the way.

- Defeat 15 hostiles of Level 39 or higher.
- Investigate the next lead, in the Nibiq system.

Altered Parameters Part 3
A suspicious warp trail leads you after a trafficker’s ship from Zhaishka through Vindemiatrix to Labac, where you finally disable it.
- Tail the trafficker’s ship, in the Zhaishka system.
- Defeat 12 hostiles of Level 40 or higher.
- Continue your pursuit, in the Vindemiatrix system.
- Pay 4,500 3★ Raw Ore in order to safely pass through the system.
- Close in on the trafficker’s ship, in the Labac system.
- Disable the trafficker’s ship, in the Labac system (enemy strength ~3,491,974).

Altered Parameters Part 4
With the traffickers located, you meet them in Whinnul, restore a ship’s systems and then turn the tide against the Orions in Clytomenes to secure the captives.

- Donate 1.5M Dilithium to restore functionality to the ship.
- Turn the tide against the Orions, in the Clytomenes system.

Altered Parameters Part 5
The finale is an assault on the Orion stronghold in Orion. After three fights, you escort the Merrion back to Federation territory and return Saavik to the Enterprise.
- Lead the assault on the Orion stronghold.
- Defeat the Orion Adherent (enemy strength ~3,598,569).
- Break the Orion formation (enemy strength ~3,358,989).
- Defeat Dezoh, in the Orion system (enemy strength ~3,491,974).
- Escort the Merrion back to Federation territory, in the Priya system.
- Return Saavik to the Enterprise, in the Letoria system.
Warp to complete: 26. Rewards: 1 WOK Saavik shard, 200 Epic Wrath Credit, 1,250 Augment Points, 50 Wrath Choice Token, 250 Pioneer’s Crest.
Tips for completing Altered Parameters
Part 5 is the combat spike: the Orion Adherent (about 3.6 million strength), the Orion formation (about 3.4 million) and Dezoh (about 3.5 million) come one after another in the Orion system. Repair before you start the assault.
Parts 1 and 2 each ask for 15 hostiles of level 39 or higher, and Part 3 asks for 12 of level 40 or higher. Clear them while you travel between objectives.
The resource costs are small: 5M Tritanium in Part 1, 4,500 3★ Raw Ore to pass through Vindemiatrix in Part 3 and 1.5M Dilithium in Part 4. Part 4 is also a very short trip at warp 7.
Are the Altered Parameters rewards worth it?
Yes, if you want WOK Saavik or Wrath rewards. The chain pays 5 WOK Saavik shards, 400 Epic Wrath Credit, 1,200 Common Wrath Credit, 250 Rare Wrath Credit, 250 Wrath Choice Tokens, 5,250 Augment Points and 1,250 Pioneer’s Crests.
