A New Start is a level 75 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you welcome the Forsaken’s newest members. It is picked up in Rey’Kyav and needs warp 3,500 to start and to complete, with a new colony in Sapzun and a Section 31 vessel to follow into Thermopylae. There is one fight, against a spy vessel of about 33 trillion strength, and no donation. The reward is 1,074,000 7★ Raw Ore, 89,000 7★ Broken Explorer Parts and 700 Σ-Federation Credits. It is short and free, with a modest payout.
A New Start objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Proceed to the new colony. Location: Sapzun.
- Defeat the spy vessel. Location: Sapzun (enemy strength about 32.6 trillion).
- Follow the Section 31 vessel. Location: Thermopylae.
- Report back to the Council. Location: Rey’Kyav.
A spy vessel is watching the new colony in Sapzun, and you deal with it first. A Section 31 vessel then leads you to Thermopylae, and the mission closes with a report to the Council in Rey’Kyav.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Rey’Kyav, where the mission also ends. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 3,500, and the recommended level is 75.
Sapzun and Thermopylae are the two stops in between, and the only fight is in Sapzun.

Tips
The spy vessel is a typical level 75 enemy, and after it the mission is travel. A combat ship with warp 3,500 is all you need.
Accept Somebody Has To at the same time in Rey’Kyav. Both missions end there or at your station, so they fit into one outing.
