The Price of Silence is a Star Trek Fleet Command story mission where you have to silence Rokol before he can reveal your intentions to the Orion Syndicate. It starts at warp 1, lists warp 18 to complete and a recommended level of 1, and all the action is in Mada. Halfway through you choose between paying off the problem with a 109M Parsteel donation or eliminating Rokol yourself. Either way the reward is the same: 250 1M Parsteel Tokens, three 4 Hr Peace Shields and 600 Premium Recruit Tokens. It also unlocks All Our Tomorrows.
The Price of Silence objectives
The mission opens with one shared step, then splits at a choice:
- Go to Rokol’s last known location in Mada. Location: Mada.
- Choose how to deal with Rokol.
Path 1: pay
- Donate 109M Parsteel.
- Return to your Station.
Path 2: fight
- Eliminate Rokol. Location: Mada.
- Return to your Station.
Both paths end the same way, with a trip back to your station, and both pay out identical rewards. The only difference is what the middle step costs you: a large Parsteel donation on one side, a fight with Rokol on the other. No enemy strength is listed for Rokol.
Where and what warp
The Price of Silence becomes available at warp 1 and no pickup system is named. The only system in the objectives is Mada, and the game lists warp 18 to complete.
The recommended level is 1. That number says little here, because this mission sits deep in a storyline whose next step, All Our Tomorrows, needs warp 120 to finish. The real test is whether you can afford 109M Parsteel or win the fight against Rokol.

All Our Tomorrows also begins in Mada, where you find a secure location before choosing which faction to ask for help, so the two missions connect directly.
Tips
Do the Parsteel maths before you choose. The pay path costs 109M Parsteel, and the reward includes 250 1M Parsteel Tokens, which covers the donation if you redeem them. If you have a strong combat ship ready, the fight path keeps your Parsteel stock intact while it waits to be redeemed.
Hold on to the peace shields. Three 4 Hr Peace Shields are useful for covering a planned offline stretch, so there is no need to spend them the moment they arrive.
Look ahead to the next mission. All Our Tomorrows ends with a fight against Underboss Jaraz at roughly 5,867,534 strength, so the Premium Recruit Tokens are a good excuse to strengthen your crew before moving on. More missions are listed on the mission guide.
