New Life II is the middle New Life mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 50. You perform tests on the new organisms found in New Life I, working out of Oja’s lab in tIn jIb. It starts at warp 1 after New Life I and needs warp 205 to complete. There are no fights, but one test uses 11M Dilithium. The reward is 11,000 Latinum and 30,750,000 Dilithium, and it unlocks New Life III.
New Life II objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Collect materials from Oja’s lab. Location: tIn jIb.
- Analyze the samples you took.
- Expose the bacteria to 11M Dilithium.
- Expose the bacteria to a different environment. Location: Belmont.
- Return to Oja’s lab. Location: tIn jIb.
The analysis and the Dilithium test have no location. The environment test sends you to Belmont, then the mission closes back at the lab. Oja is the researcher behind the bacteria study, and New Life III ends with a return to Oja once the spread is contained.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed. New Life II appears at warp 1 once New Life I is complete, and warp 205 is needed for the tIn jIb and Belmont legs. The recommended level is 50.
The 11M Dilithium test is the only cost, and no hostile is listed.

New Life II returns far more Dilithium than it spends: 11M in, 30.75M out. The 11,000 Latinum is the standout reward of the three parts; neither Part I nor Part III pays any Latinum.
Tips
Run the steps in order. Collecting materials comes first in tIn jIb, then the analysis and the Dilithium test, then the Belmont trip, so the only travel is tIn jIb to Belmont and back.
Keep 11M Dilithium ready. The test comes right after the analysis step, before the Belmont trip.
Save some Tritanium for Part III, which asks for a 62M Tritanium donation to bind the chemical agent.
