Thirst for Raktajino is a level 62 Klingon mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which a fungus threatens the Klingon supply of raktajino. You pick it up in Xenoti and need warp 1,000 to start and to finish. You find healthy beans in Qorfit, fight off a Klingon desperate for his morning cup, and donate 45M Dilithium to find a cure. The reward is 13 U.S.S. Discovery Scale Replica, 10 4 Hr Peace Shields and 3,600 Klingon Credits.
Thirst for Raktajino objectives
There are six objectives in a fixed order, with no choice split:
- Find out why the latest bean batch is spoiled. Location: Xenoti.
- Get to the independent raktajino beans farm. Location: Qorfit.
- Stop a desperate Klingon. Location: Qorfit (enemy strength ~2,643,533,500).
- Deliver the remaining beans to the lab. Location: Xenoti.
- Donate 45M Dilithium to assist with bean genetic sequencing.
- Cure the local farm’s beans. Location: Xenoti.
Morgiam Virs, head of research at a leading raktajino producer, has a whole cycle of spoiled beans. Your scans find a new fungus that only takes hold once the beans are picked, so the damage stays hidden until after harvest. The plan is to find beans that resist it and use their genes for a cure.
An independent farmer in Qorfit, Bri’Stagh, has a variety that survived. Before you can leave with the beans, a Klingon who has gone a week without raktajino demands them and threatens to destroy your ship, so you disable him. Back in Xenoti, the lab’s computers are too slow to finish the genetic work in time, and your crew suggests boosting its Dilithium-powered generators with 45M Dilithium. The resulting fungicide is tested on a small local farm, and it works.
Where and what warp
The pickup is Xenoti, with warp 1,000 to start and to complete. There are only two systems on the route: Xenoti for the lab work and Qorfit for the farm and the fight. The recommended level is 62.

Thirst for Raktajino is the only one of the three with no resource reward at all. It pays in items: the scale replicas and a stack of peace shields.
Tips
Bring the Dilithium with you. The 45M donation comes after you return to Xenoti, and the last step cannot start until it is paid.
The desperate Klingon in Qorfit is the only fight, at about 2.64 billion strength, so a combat ship that handles that can finish the rest without trouble.
The ten 4 Hr Peace Shields add up to 40 hours of shield time, which you can use one at a time when you need it.
