Delusions of Grandeur is a level 55 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you rescue the Immortal musician Bedakar from Klingon “fans” he refuses to believe are hostile. It is picked up in Cortázar at warp 255 and needs warp 285 to complete. You defeat 8 hostiles in Samson and escort him home. The reward is a Romulan Immortal Datapad, 3,000,000,000 Parsteel, 800 Romulan Credits and 2,500,000 Romulan Points.
Delusions of Grandeur objectives
Dinitari says you are partly to blame: since the concert you helped Bedakar put on, he has been calling himself the new Omaya, and the Klingons are furious. He has taken his show on tour to Samson, and Dinitari wants you to help save him from himself.
- Find the musician. Location: Samson.
- Defeat 8 hostiles of level 55 or higher in Samson. Location: Samson.
- Rescue Bedakar from the fans. Location: Samson.
- Escort the musician back to Immortal space. Location: Cortázar.
Bedakar is convinced the ships gathering around him are admirers. They are hostile Klingons, and you have to clear a path before you can beam him aboard. Back in Immortal space he tells everyone about his heroic escape. Dinitari admits privately that, for all his faults, Bedakar is a real talent. There is no choice split.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Cortázar, which needs warp 255. Completing the mission needs warp 285, the range to Samson, where the first three objectives happen. Unlike most hostile-kill objectives, the 8 kills here must be in Samson. You finish back in Cortázar. The recommended level is 55.

Delusions of Grandeur has the smallest Federation Points cost of the five, 3,300,000, and it shares the 3 billion Parsteel reward with Tal Shiar Burglary III. If Parsteel is what you are after, it is the cheaper of the two on Federation standing.
Tips
The 8 hostile kills are the only combat, and they must be level 55 or higher and in Samson. Check that suitable targets are there before you commit a ship.
The 3 billion Parsteel is the headline. Samson is also the pickup for Epina, a level 54 Sunspot mission, and Cortázar is where Catching a Killer II opens, so this one can share a trip with either.
