Sphere of Influence is a level 55 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you take the Borg Sphere into action against the Conqueror Borg to rescue a Maverick convoy. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 320 to complete, with stops in Assimilated Sol and Hilltara. Along the way you fight a Borg Probe, five Conqueror Borg Suppressors and an Obliterator, and donate 6 billion Parsteel. The reward is 165 Borg Sphere Parts, 2,130 Uncommon Borg Cortical Subunits, 300 Epic Maverick Credits and 8,149,250,000 Parsteel.
Sphere of Influence objectives
Maia wants to test the Borg Sphere against the Conqueror Borg, but Mara Dalen calls in first, heading for your station with shields down and a Borg Probe in pursuit. Once the Probe is gone, Mara Dalen explains that the Mavericks have been protecting de-assimilated drones since the rift to the assimilated universe was stabilised, and the Collective keeps raiding them. One group escaped an ambush, but the rest of the Mavericks are still trapped.
- Destroy the stalking Borg Probe. Enemy strength is roughly 29,678,595.
- Fix Mara Dalen’s ship with 6B Parsteel.
- Locate the stranded ship in Assimilated Sol. Location: Assimilated Sol.
- Defeat 5 Conqueror Borg Suppressors of Level 55 or higher.
- Stop the Conqueror Borg Obliterator from corrupting the Sphere’s systems. Location: Assimilated Sol. Enemy strength is roughly 28,524,865.
- Join the Mavericks in Hilltara. Location: Hilltara.
In Assimilated Sol, a Maverick named Nazzen reports that the Collective has adapted to their weapons and that Conqueror Borg Suppressors are deflecting every strike. Maia describes a new Borg beam and a counter pulse the Sphere can use against it. Once the Suppressors thin out, Nazzen’s forces escape toward Hilltara while you cover them, and a Conqueror Borg Obliterator tries to break into the Sphere’s systems. Destroying it leaves some of your systems altered, but you also recover intelligence on the Conqueror Borg. There is no choice split.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed, and the mission starts at warp 1. The Probe fight and the Parsteel donation have no system attached. The rest takes place in Assimilated Sol and then Hilltara, and completing the mission needs warp 320. The recommended level is 55.

The Parsteel reward covers the donation with room to spare. You give 6,000,000,000 and get 8,149,250,000 back, a net gain of 2,149,250,000 Parsteel.
Tips
The Borg Probe at the start is the strongest listed enemy, at about 29.7 million, slightly above the Obliterator at about 28.5 million. If you can beat the Probe, the Obliterator should not stop you.
Have the 6 billion Parsteel ready before you start. The donation is the second objective, straight after the Probe fight and before the trip to Assimilated Sol.
