Trenches is a Federation support mission in Star Trek Fleet Command: help the Federation repair the massacred fleet at Azati. It opens at warp 1, needs warp 27 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. There is no fight. You meet the Admiral in the Azati system, then hand over 500 G3 Raw Ore and 80,000 Tritanium. The reward is 1,000 Federation Recruit Tokens and 25 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas. If you have the resources on hand, it is a quick way to a large stack of recruit tokens.
Trenches objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with the Admiral in the Azati System. Location: Azati.
- Resupply Starfleet with 500 G3 Raw Ore.
- Top up the local fleets supply of 80,000 Tritanium.
The first step is travel to Azati. After that, the mission is two donations: 500 G3 Raw Ore for Starfleet’s resupply, and 80,000 Tritanium for the local fleet. No hostile is listed, and the mission ends on the second donation with no return-to-station step.
Where and what warp
Trenches becomes available at warp 1 and no pickup system is named. Completing it needs warp 27 to reach Azati.
The recommended level is 1. The real requirements are warp 27 and having 500 G3 Raw Ore and 80,000 Tritanium ready to give.

Trenches and Home Soil compared
Trenches follows Home Soil, where a Vulcan historian asks for help retrieving fragments of an ancient crystal from her destroyed home planet. Current game data for the two:

The two missions balance each other. Home Soil has a fight and pays 149,000 Tritanium, and Trenches asks for 80,000 of that back while handing out recruit tokens instead of resources.
Tips
Mine the G3 Raw Ore ahead of time. The ore donation comes straight after the meeting in Azati, so having 500 already stockpiled keeps the mission from stalling.
Use Home Soil’s Tritanium. It pays 149,000 Tritanium, which covers the 80,000 you need here with plenty left over.
Send any ship that can reach warp 27. With no combat involved, a survey ship is a good fit, especially if it just finished mining the ore. The 1,000 Federation Recruit Tokens are the main reason to run this mission. More missions by level are on the mission guide.
