Operations 47 is a station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with a single objective: upgrade to Operations 47. It needs only warp 1, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 22 each of 4★ Rare Refined Ore, Crystal and Gas, and completing it unlocks The Convergence. The upgrade itself is the whole task, and it is a very large build.
Operations 47 objectives
The story line and the objective read the same. There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade to Operations 47.
No system is named, no hostile is listed and nothing is donated. The mission clears when Operations reaches level 47.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. Everything happens on your station.
The recommended level is 1, but the mission can only complete once Operations 47 is built, and that upgrade is a late-game project.

Before you can start Operations 47 you need the Shipyard at 46 and Defense Platform E at 46. The base build time is about 1,469 days before any speed ups or build-time reductions, so this is an upgrade most players plan around for a long time.

Where it sits in the storyline
Operations 47 comes between two Convergence story missions. Seeking Answers comes before it and pays 182,250,000 Parsteel and 15 8 Hour Speed Ups at warp 135. The Convergence comes after it at warp 150, sending you to defend Federation, Romulan and Klingon systems against Convergence Zealots for 700 credits of each faction. The next station mission, Operations 48, pays the same 22 each of 4★ Rare refined materials.
Tips
Line up the requirements early. Shipyard 46 and Defense Platform E 46 both have to be finished before Operations 47 can start.
The reward is small next to the cost. Operations 47 asks for 12,000 4★ Rare Refined Ore, and the mission gives back 22. Treat it as a bonus for work you are doing anyway, not a reason to rush the build. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
