Smokescreen is a late-game Star Trek Fleet Command story mission where you uncover the identity of the peace summit bomber. Everything happens in Rainsford, where three hijacked ships wait, each above 7.2 million strength, before you return to your station. The game lists a recommended level of 1 and warp 1 to start and complete, but those three fights are what the mission really asks of you. The reward is 11,310,000 Dilithium and 120 100K Dilithium Tokens, and finishing it unlocks A Warrior’s Mind. The game has a second mission with this name; this page covers the peace summit one.
Smokescreen objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Defeat the Hijacked USS Mayflower. Location: Rainsford. Enemy strength is roughly 7,414,271.
- Defeat the Hijacked Legionary. Location: Rainsford. Enemy strength is roughly 7,482,395.
- Defeat the Hijacked D3 Class. Location: Rainsford. Enemy strength is roughly 7,227,080.
- Return to your Station.
The mission is three fights in a row, all in Rainsford. The Hijacked Legionary is the strongest at about 7,482,395, the USS Mayflower comes first at about 7,414,271, and the D3 Class is the lightest of the three at about 7,227,080. After the third fight you return to your station to finish.
Where and what warp
The game lists warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, and no pickup system is named. Rainsford is the only system in the objectives.
The recommended level is 1. Three fights between 7.2 and 7.5 million strength set the real bar, so treat this as a mission for a strong late-game ship.

Smokescreen in the peace summit story
Smokescreen follows Said The Spider to The Fly. Earlier in the same story, Apocrypha has you spread rumors about a fake peace summit. Current game data for the missions around it:

The other Smokescreen
A different mission with the same title, Smokescreen, is about searching for Dalen. It has one fight at about 293,839 strength in Pasadoran and pays 150 Premium Recruit Tokens. If your mission log mentions Dalen, you are on that one.
Tips
Repair between fights if you can. All three hijacked ships sit in Rainsford, and each one is above 7.2 million strength.
Count the Dilithium tokens as part of the payout. The 120 100K Dilithium Tokens are worth 12,000,000 Dilithium, so with the 11,310,000 paid directly the mission brings in 23,310,000 Dilithium in total.
