Unheard Screams is a level 70 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that starts with a looping distress signal and ends with a Gorn brood aboard a derelict mining ship. You pick it up in Caliar and need warp 1,550 to start and to complete. The second half is three fights in a row against Gorn ships in Mistrare. The reward is one Worf’s d’k tagh, 714,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium and 600 Trait XP, and no faction reputation changes hands.
Unheard Screams objectives
Maia picks up a distress call that has been repeating for days and suggests checking on any survivors. There is no choice split, and the objectives run in this order:
- Investigate the distress signal in Steria.
- Find the derelict ship in Mistrare.
- Defeat the first Gorn in Mistrare (enemy strength ~17,186,445,359).
- Defeat the second Gorn in Mistrare (enemy strength ~18,655,441,716).
- Defeat the last Gorn in Mistrare (enemy strength ~18,215,062,522).
The signal comes from an escape pod. Inside is Horton, first officer of the ECS Addax, dead from her wounds. Her log says the crew was surveying Miruta for the Dytallix Mining Company when something came aboard and killed nearly everyone in under twelve hours. She also accuses Dytallix of knowing what was out there.
The Addax itself is drifting in Mistrare. Maia’s scans find no crew, only Gorn of every age from infants to adults: the crew were used as hosts for the young. The beacon was never a call for help for the humans. It was the Gorn calling their own fleet, which arrives as you scan. After the third ship falls, Maia destroys the Addax with the brood still aboard and sends a full report to Dytallix, with a warning that the Federation gets a copy if the company denies any part in it.

You pick the mission up in Caliar. It needs warp 1,550 to start and warp 1,550 to complete. The first stop is Steria, and everything after that happens in Mistrare. The recommended level is 70.

Tips
The three Gorn ships are listed between about 17.2 and 18.7 billion strength, low for a level 70 mission. The catch is that they come back to back with no break, so start the Mistrare leg at full hull rather than trusting one fight at a time.
