Spirals Under The Skin is a level 75 Klingon mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you track down a cowardly spy for House Sov. It is picked up in Yagnerus and needs warp 3,500 to start and to complete, chasing the House K’Ekar spy from a debris field in Yagnerus to Seh’Lei. After you beat the spy’s ship, at about 32 trillion strength, you decide whether to take the spy into custody or let them go. Both choices pay 53,000 Σ-Dilithium, 500 Klingon Recruit Tokens and 1,000 Σ-Klingon Credits. It is a short mission with only one fight.
Spirals Under The Skin objectives
Three objectives come before the choice:
- Track down the K’Ekar spy to a nearby debris field. Location: Yagnerus.
- Chase the spy to the Seh’Lei system. Location: Seh’Lei.
- Defeat the House K’Ekar spy. Location: Seh’Lei (enemy strength about 32.3 trillion).
With the spy beaten, the mission asks what you will do with them.
Take the spy into custody
- Report to House Sov. Location: Yagnerus.
You take the spy back to Heskon, with a warning that she will not be pleased to see her son injured.
Let the spy go free
- Report to House Sov. Location: Yagnerus.
You send the spy off with a disabled ship and a pointer to the repair kit in the engine bay.
Both paths end with the same report, and the choice only changes the dialogue.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Yagnerus, where the mission also ends. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 3,500, and the recommended level is 75.
Seh’Lei is the only other system, so the route is a simple out-and-back.

Both carry the same point changes. Spirals Under The Skin is the only one with Recruit Tokens; Rebel Sentiment pays more Σ-Dilithium and credits.
Tips
Pick either ending. The rewards are identical, so choose the one that fits how you want to treat House Sov’s enemies.
The spy’s ship is typical for level 75. There is no donation, so the Klingon Recruit Tokens come free apart from repairs.
