Ceremony is a late-game story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you attend the graduation of a class of Starfleet Academy cadets. It can be picked up at warp 1 and needs warp 75 to finish, with stops at Starbase 87 in Holles and on Earth in Sol. There are no fights and no donations. The rewards are 1,485,000 Dilithium, 120 Premium Recruit Tokens and 311,000 Federation reputation, which makes it an easy payout between two much harder missions.

Ceremony objectives

There are four objectives and no choice split:

  • Go to Starbase 87 and meet the graduating class. Location: Holles.
  • Escort the graduating class to the ceremony on Earth. Location: Sol.
  • Attend the post-graduation celebration on Starbase 87. Location: Holles.
  • Return to your Station.

The mission is a round trip. You collect the cadets at Starbase 87 in Holles, take them to the graduation on Earth, bring everyone back to Starbase 87 for the celebration, and then head home. No hostile appears in any step.

Where and what warp

Ceremony has no named pickup system and can be picked up at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 75, which covers Holles and Sol.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. With no combat, warp 75 is the only real requirement, so any ship with that range can run it.

Ceremony rewards

Reward Amount
Dilithium 1,485,000
Premium Recruit Token 120
Federation Credits 600
Federation Points 311,000
Klingon Points -481,428

Completing Ceremony unlocks the next mission, Work Experience.

Nearly 1.5 million Dilithium for a travel-only mission is good value. The faction line costs 481,428 Klingon Points against 311,000 Federation Points gained, so it leans firmly toward the Federation.

Where it sits in the story

Mission Warp to complete Fights and costs Headline rewards
Chaperone 110 Donate 12M Tritanium, defend the class from an Orion Slaver (~1,969,977) 110 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas, 29 4★ Rare Refined Gas
Ceremony 75 None 1,485,000 Dilithium, 120 Premium Recruit Tokens
Work Experience 110 Orion Slaver (~5,867,534), 10 level 44+ hostiles 15,345,000 Tritanium, 900 4★ Common Explorer Parts

Chaperone has you escort a class of Academy cadets on a training mission, and Work Experience sends you on patrol with the new crew of the USS Phillips. Ceremony is the quiet step between them, and it asks for less warp than either.

Tips

Use any ship with warp 75 range. There is nothing to fight, so a survey or spare ship works fine and leaves your combat ship free.

Prepare for Work Experience while you run this. Its Orion Slaver is close to 5.9 million strength, a big step up from the Chaperone fight.

Weigh the Klingon hit. At almost half a million Klingon Points, the reputation loss is the only real cost of this mission.
