Fair Game is a story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where the Separatists become the main target for the Klingon Empire’s forces. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete. You clear 15 hostiles of level 24 or higher and eliminate a House Antaak Warship at roughly 101,520 power in Angosia. The reward is 36,000 Dilithium and 1,600 points with each of the three factions, and finishing it unlocks Bystanders.

Fair Game objectives

There are four objectives and no choice split:

  • Join the Klingon assault in Angosia. Location: Angosia.
  • Defeat 15 Hostiles of level 24 or higher.
  • Take Yan’Agh to the scene of the wreckage. Location: Angosia.
  • Eliminate the House Antaak Warship. Location: Angosia. Enemy strength is roughly 101,520.

Everything with a location happens in Angosia. The hostile count has no system attached, so any 15 hostiles of level 24 or above count toward it. Once that is done, you bring Yan’Agh to the wreckage and finish by destroying the House Antaak Warship.

Where and what warp

Fair Game can be picked up at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete, which covers the trip to Angosia.

The recommended level is listed as 1. The House Antaak Warship at about 101,520 is the real check, backed by 15 level 24 hostiles beforehand.

Fair Game rewards

Reward Amount
Dilithium 36,000
Federation Points 1,600
Klingon Points 1,600
Romulan Points 1,600

Completing the mission also unlocks the next one in the storyline, Bystanders.

Fair Game is unusual in that it raises your standing with all three factions equally and takes nothing away. It is a safe mission to run whichever faction you are working with.

How it fits the storyline

Mission Warp to complete Strongest fight Main rewards
The Klingon Separatists 18 Separatist ship, about 75,312 4 shards of Chang, Vemet or Spock depending on your choice, plus faction rewards
The Battle For Narendra 18 Corvallen Explorer, about 74,100 120,000 Tritanium, 20,000 Dilithium, repair speed ups
Fair Game 18 House Antaak Warship, about 101,520 36,000 Dilithium, 1,600 points with each faction

The Klingon Separatists opens this storyline, and The Battle For Narendra comes directly before Fair Game. All three need warp 18. Fair Game has the strongest single enemy in this group, about a third stronger than the top fights in the earlier missions, and its count of 15 hostiles is the longest grind of the three.

Tips

Clear the 15 hostiles near Angosia. The count has no set location, and every other step is in that system.

Check your ship against the warship. If your ship only just beat the Corvallen ships in The Battle For Narendra, the House Antaak Warship at about 101,520 will be a tougher fight.

Previous mission: The Battle For Narendra. Next mission: Bystanders. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
