Cover-Up is a two-part mission chain about a refinery in Zeta Kan where workers have turned aggressive and production has stopped. Rumors call it a haunted refinery, but you and the foreman, Zuvix, uncover a Dilithium isotope from a new refinement plant, and a company called Navitas Holdings that wants the whole thing kept quiet. Both parts are recommended for level 66 and reach warp 1,300, with the chain picked up in Kreonta. Rewards are Raw Σ-Parsteel, Raw Σ-Tritanium, 630,000,000 Dilithium and 4,700,000,000 Tritanium. It is a short chain with one guard fight and one hostile grind.

Cover-Up at a glance

Cover-Up Part 2 66 1,300 369,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium and 4,700,000,000 Tritanium

Part 1 needs warp 1,300 to start, while Part 2 starts at warp 1. Finishing Part 1 opens Part 2.

Cover-Up Part 1

Investigate a refinery. The foreman has gone into hiding after the refinery was quarantined, and you persuade him to go back. A guard ship stops you at the refinery, and once it is disabled your scan finds the cause of the illness.

  • Visit the foreman of the refinery in Kreonta.
  • Investigate the refinery in Zeta Kan.
  • Defeat the guard in Zeta Kan (enemy strength ~7,459,021,298).
  • Scan the refinery in Zeta Kan.

Warp to complete: 1,300.

Rewards: 259,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel and 630,000,000 Dilithium.

Cover-Up Part 2

Decide what to do about the refinery. The affected workers cannot be saved, so Zuvix turns to exposing Navitas Holdings. After fighting off the ships that answer the guard’s call, you bring in a detective he trusts, Salou, and return to the refinery before the evidence disappears.

  • Open a line of communication in Zeta Kan.
  • Defeat 10 hostiles of level 65 or higher.
  • Speak with a detective in Kreonta.
  • Return to the refinery in Zeta Kan.
  • Return to Kreonta.

Warp to complete: 1,300.

Rewards: 369,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium and 4,700,000,000 Tritanium.

Tips for completing Cover-Up

The one scripted fight is the guard ship in Part 1, listed at about 7.5 billion strength. That is light for a level 66 chain, so most players can clear it with their usual combat ship.

The step that takes time is Part 2’s request to defeat 10 hostiles of level 65 or higher. It does not name a system, so hunt wherever level 65 or higher hostiles are closest to you before you head back to Kreonta. The rest of the chain is travel between Kreonta and Zeta Kan with no donations or choices.

Unlike many chains at this level, Cover-Up pays no faction points and costs no reputation, so it is safe to run whatever faction you favor. The Tritanium page covers what the 4.7 billion Tritanium payout can go toward. The Raw Σ-Parsteel and Raw Σ-Tritanium belong to the Σ-resources family.

Are the Cover-Up rewards worth it?

Yes. Two parts give 628,000 raw Σ-resources, 630,000,000 Dilithium and 4,700,000,000 Tritanium for one light fight and a hostile grind, with no reputation cost. The story is self-contained, so you can run it any time you reach warp 1,300. For other level 66 missions, see the STFC mission guide.
